WWE continues to search for enhanced schedules, including large premium live events hosted in cities around the world.

Recent Announcements of the Return of Evolution – All Women WWE PLE ever made in 2018 – could also make a comeback from other previous pay-per-view events.

WWE Armageddon was an annual event held between 1999 and 2008, marking the end of the calendar year.

However, in 2009, the event was replaced by another annual tradition: TLC, a now-deprecated pay-per-view.

Coupled with the main event on Saturday nights in December, reviving Armageddon to maximize the plot among fans rapped and casual fans during the holiday season could be a welcome reappraisal for nostalgic viewers.

Armageddon is not bound by a particular Gimmick match, making it a better option than TLC at least.
