The Roman debut was a complete flop

If fans have only been familiar with the careers of the formerly uncontroversial WWE Champion’s Roman ruler for the past few years, they’ll think it’s nothing more than greatness for the “tribal chief.” Not only has the longest rule of the world championships WWE has seen in the last few decades, but he has also given four straight wrestlemania headlines, including Adam Copeland, Brian Danielson, Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes, but he has been the central figure in the great restaurant story to date. With such a resume, it is almost impossible to consider Reigns’ wrestling career as anything other than universally praised.

Still, Reigns’ career from 2012 to early 2020 tells a completely different story. In the meantime, there were certainly some advantages. Most notably Seth Rollins and John Moxley, his run at the Shield alongside several World Championship reigns and several WrestleMania main events. But there was an equal number of lowest, from the real battles of Reigns to the real battles from leukemia to the fact that he tame John Cena’s difficult fight for fan support in the mid-2000s, with hostile fans reactions. It was not years before the ruler was finally accepted by the wrestling fanbase from the Bloodline story before dealing with boos, criticism and even accusations that he didn’t deserve his push. And it was noise that all began in 2014 when Shield broke up and Governance debuted as a singles wrestler.

Reigns’ Babyface debut in 2014 looked doomed from the scene

The difference between Reigns’ post-shielded road and Rollins and Moxley was impressive. The latter two have been given new entrance music and appearances as they embarked on a well-received feud with each other over the coming months. However, the ruler kept his shield gear and shield music while he quickly pushed up the cards, fought for the WWE Championship, and fought things like Randy Orton, and almost ignored the shield drama until August. The fan stayed mostly behind him, but had already begun to push the rule out a little earlier, but died when he was placed on the shelf in September with a ripped hernia.

However, as soon as Reigns returned in December, Chatter launched again, especially when Danielson returned from injury and declared the Royal Rumble. Danielson’s popularity alone has made ruler rise tough, but was further injured in WWE’s own booking in January, scripted to cut back on successive promotions of “SmackDown” and “Raw” citing “SmackDown” and “Sketch and Nursery Limes.” Reigns’ already wobble status boosted the edge before both promotions created the airwaves, and the boos he received was not a surprise when Reigns made the entrance to the Royal Rumble minutes after Danielson was eliminated a few weeks later, but Rock Booked on Rumble was shocked. Looking back, in that moment, and before that, it makes it inevitable that it is necessary to see the first babyface debut of reign flops and the kind of effort that happened to take over him as a beloved top star a few years later.
