Mick Foley sets the record straight. The WWE Hall of Fame is tackling rumors floating online, claiming that he earns $2.88 million a year as part of the WWE ambassador agreement. According to Foley, not only is that number wrong, he is not even an ambassador.

Talk during the interview Casual conversation with classicsFoley revealed that although he still has strong partnerships with WWE, the idea that he has attracted millions is far from the base.

“As reported, there is no ambassador job that pays me $2.88 million.”

He added that number is not even close when he played the role of formal ambassador in WWE.

“I was an ambassador for two years so I literally paid 1/14.”

Foley also spent most of the year on the road, live shows, stand-ups and appearances, wondering who would believe he was pulling such money.

“It’s rumoured to be doing this gorgeous job, and if I made $2.88 million a year to become an ambassador, I wouldn’t think I’d be out 200 days a year.”

He didn’t throw any shade on anyone I’ll do it If such a person exists, he gets such a payday, but it made it clear that he is not that man.

“If anyone else has that type of job, it’s good for them. But I just want to put it out. I love my relationship with WWE.

Foley said his current legendary trade is better than ever, but that doesn’t make him the official WWE ambassador.

“And I have a legendary deal because I think WWE is worthy of promoting me as a key person, and I’m better than 20 years ago. It’s better than 10 years ago. So I’m really grateful for that relationship.”

“But I won’t receive $2.88 million. I’m not an ambassador, so I’ll receive $0.”

He ended by adding that his connection with WWE is part of him, regardless of title or contract.

“Where I walk, I’m like a walking sign for WWE.”

So, while Foley continues to represent the brand through its appearance and nostalgia, don’t believe in clickbait.
