The WWE Raw episode on May 26th took place at Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, continuing the momentum leading up to Money in the Bank and wrapping up WWE’s Tampa events. On the May 16th SmackDown, Solo Sikoa secured the first spot for the men’s Money in the Bank match, with La Knight qualifying on the May 23rd episode. Additional qualifiers were held on Raw this week to finalize the match participants.

One of the qualifying bouts featured Finn Balor versus Seth “Freakin” Rollins and Sami Zayn taking on Judgment Day, with the main event being the highlight. Penta triumphed in the first match, earning his place in the Money in the Bank ladder match. The competition was intense, and the crowd enthusiastically supported Sami Zayn, with “Samisou” chants filling the arena even during commercial breaks.

Zayn delivered a Superplex to Balor and followed it with a splash on him and Seth Rollins before the show went to another commercial. Upon returning, Rollins and Barroa teamed up to tackle Zayn, but he held his own against both. The action heated up when Seth Rollins was knocked down after a blue lightning bomb. Bronbreaker intervened to pull Sami away, breaking the pin attempt.

Jay Uso came running to aid, only to be taken out by a massive spear from Blakeker. Then, Dominic Mysterio handed Finn Balor a chair, allowing Bronson Reed to slam Sami. Suddenly, Seth Rollins stomped on the chair and pinned Sami to win the match. However, Rollins’ victory celebration was cut short when CM Punk emerged from the crowd and struck him with a GTS, escaping before Bronson and Blakeker could retaliate.
