Jakara Jackson, recently released by WWE, is stepping into the wrestling world under her new ring name Mara Sadè, preparing for her first match following her WWE departure. Jersey Championship Wrestling (JCW) announced that Sadè will face Masha Slamovich for the JCW World Championship at the Born (almost) event on July 6th, held at New Jersey Park.
Shortly after, Sadè shared a YouTube video expressing her determination to keep wrestling. “Do you want to see me prove myself to the world? Absolutely,” she said. “I believe I’ll get that chance in a new way… Stay tuned, because my transformation is just getting started.”
Although she initially considered the ring name “Miss Jackson,” she ultimately chose Mara Sadè for her social media presence. In her video, she also mentioned that winning championships is a key goal on her “bucket list.”
This opportunity for the JCW World Championship comes just over a month after her WWE release. Sadè, who originally signed with WWE in 2021 and was known for her versatility on NXT TV, was let go on May 2nd.
