Tonight’s WWE NXT, airing on May 27, 2025, promises an action-packed nightlife from Capitol Wrestling Center (WWE Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. On the post WWE NXT Battleground Show, WWE NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints defend the title against the “All Ego” Ethan Page. Additionally, WWE NXT women’s champion “The Dark Angel” Stephanie Verker defends her title against deadly influence Jacy Jayne.

WWE NXT Results (5/27/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens with the reappearance of this week’s video package for WWE NXT Battleground last Sunday. You will then get a separate shot of the fatal impact and WWE NXT women’s champion Stephanie Bucketter who arrived at the WWE Performance Center.

Vic Joseph, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, and Corey Graves welcome us to the show.

They then see the security guards surrounding the ring in the first match of the night. WWE NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints head into the ring for their first match of the night, followed by Ethan Page. Mike Roma then presents his formal in-ring championship match, while Saints and Page jump guns and trade hands. Security separates both men and Roma finishes his introduction while standing at ringside.

WWE NXT North American Championship Match: Ricky Saints (c) vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page

The match officially begins with Page taking the Saints and submitting, but the Saints pull the page out of the ring on top rope. Page then first crashes into the shoulder of Ringstep, sending the saint, then grabs the chair. Security prevents him from using the chair, but the Saint bouncing the head of the page off the ring apron and sends it back inside the ring.

The Saint then ocks Page and hits him with a chop, but Page first sends the Saint to the Corner Chest, delivering him some strikes. Afterwards, Page and the Saint continue to deliver their right hands to each other in the crowd. Page then first causes the Saint to crash into the outer throat chair.

Page then passes the right hand to the inside of the ring, with both men delivering their right hand to each other. The Saints then hit DDT on Page, but Page sends the Saints first to crash into Matt Face, chasing it with a twisted smile for victory.

We then head backwards, where Sarah Schreiber interviews the fatal impact. Schreiber asks Jacee Jane about her thoughts on challenging Stephanie Verker for the NXT women’s title. Jane then boasts of taking the initiative by attacking the Varker on Sunday. Fallon says Jane should try the title instead as he recently lost to Vakea. Jane then gloggs and points out how Verker snatched the women’s North American title from Henry.

Next, get a video vignette for Mike Santana and introduce WWE viewers to the TNA star. Mike Santana vs. Tabion Heights is hyped as their match appears next.

He then heads back and sees Josh Briggs having a conversation with Inamura Yoshiki. Inamura says he’s back for Briggs. Briggs then says he is happy and Inamura returns and gives him a leather vest again. Inamura says he can achieve such as becoming an NXT tag team champion. Briggs says they beat culing and now they continue to win tag titles. Inamra then says yes, and Briggs says hell.

Mike Santana then heads into the ring for the next match of the night through the performance center spectators. Corey Graves compares Santana to New York’s past TNA Legends like Forcide and Amazing Red. There is no quarter catch crew and then head to the ring.

Single Match: TNA’s Mike Santana vs. No Quarter Catch Crew Tabion Heights

The match begins with both men locking up. They then take turns submitting and hold each other, but Santana hits a dropkick at height. Santana then hits an uppercut at corner height, crashes into the mat and sends him, chasing it with a sendon. Heights appears to hit a delayed vertical suppression in Santana, but Santana escapes. Heights then hits Santana with a German suppression, but Santana responds with three amigos, with Ping and Heights kicking out.

Heights then crashes Santana into the mat and wears him off with a submission hold, but Santana slaps Heights boots and follows him with a chop. Santana then nails the height at Enz Igiri, followed it with a rolling cutter, and goes to the pin, but the height kicks out. Heights then throws his belly from belly to Santana and chases it in a slum, but Santana responds with a shoulder buster on Heights. Santana then attacks Heights with a spin’s block finisher for the victory.

After the match, Heights shares an embrace with Santana. Santana then raises Heights’s hand as an annoyed Dempsey shakes her head.

Vic Joseph then hypes the latest news on Tony D’Angelo, and stacks the feud that appears next.

After that, we head backwards. There, Wes Lee says that he was previously part of the group, but things could change. Lee says that isn’t because she can trust herself until reality arrives. Tyson DuPont says they don’t chase anything and don’t make bricks out of bricks. Lee says they’re making their own way.

Andre Chase then tells Ulia Connors and Kale Dixon to stop being so aggressive in playing games. Chase says he needs to know when to grab the moment. They then interpret it as hoping to take more risk, so they talk to Ava and say that Ava will play a match against Darkstate next week. Kale then says there will be four dark states and four of them, and Ava says it will be three and three, Chase and Chase.

Afterwards, Tony Dangelo is seen behind the scenes, and Luca Crusifino approaches him. Tony tells Luka to sit down. Tony says he thought Stack had cut him out in the battleground. Then Luka says that he’s driven him into the desert, only stacked up in his mother’s eyes and told him he’s out. Afterwards, Luka says she didn’t reach out to him because she didn’t want to put everyone in danger. Tony says it doesn’t smell and Luka has to come out on the battlefield to set things up correctly. Tony says he doesn’t know who to trust, and Luka says he can trust him.

Next, we see TNA World Champion Trick Williams walking behind the scenes.

The music of TNA World Champion Trick Williams hits and he moves towards the ring. Williams then grabs the microphone and says that the Hollywood trick has finally arrived. Williams says he’s making history by becoming the first NXT star to host the TNA World Championships. Williams tells the live crowd not to applaud for him as he was cheering for Joe Hendry last week. And they say people like Kurt Angle, Drew McIntyre, bullies and AJ Style have held the TNA World Championships. Williams says he’s turning his back on people because he turned his back on him last week.

Mike Santana’s music gets hit and he runs away. Williams says Santana made the first mistake by interrupting the champion, but Santana says Williams is not his champion and Williams won’t demolish TNA after herself and the rest of the locker rooms have created it. Santana says people like Williams will anger him and call him a fighter and pretend rapper who pretended Williams. Santana vows to abdicate Williams as TNA World Champion.

Santino Marella then appears on the big screen to congratulate Williams, saying Williams will become the combat champion and announces Williams will defend the TNA World Championship against Santana next week. Williams then develops the TNA World Championships before Santana reaches out to Williams. Williams then chooses to shake it and try to attack Santana, but Santana washes Williams out of the ring. Santana looks and grabs her from the TNA World Championship belt, then gets taller as she hugs it.

After that we watch Stephanie Varker warm up in the locker room. Ava will then appear and book a tag match for a global clash between Vaquer and Mystery Partner vs. Dalys and Chika Tormenta. Lola Vice then appears as a volunteer to become a tag partner for Vaquer.

Haida Parker then heads into the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Tatum Pax Three.

Single Match: Haida Parker vs. Tatum Pax Three

The match begins with both women coming and going. Paxley then attacks Backstabah with her hoodie, but Parker delivers some shoulders in the middle of Paxley and attacks her with her signature hip attack. Paxley bounces Parker’s head off her knees and nails her with her elbows on her back and Enz-Egiri.

Parker then grabs the Paxley Gigi Dorin doll and throws it into the ring. Paxley finds it and starts crying. Parker then blinds Pax Three with a hip attack for victory.

After the match, Shea Hale appears out of nowhere and attacks Parker.

He then gets an introductory vignette for Jasper Troy where he talks about how he will affect him. Jaspert Roy is then shown walking behind the scenes with a chain placed around his neck.

Dan Techen then heads into the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Jaspert Roy.

Single Match: Jaspert Roy vs. Dantechen

The match begins with Troy not wasting time chasing Chen. Chen then climbs onto the top rope, but Troy pulls him away and drops the body on his back on him. Troy then sends Chen out of the ring and first crashes into the face of the ring apron, sending him back inside. Troy then hits a splash on Chen on the corner and chases it with a backbreaker, but Chen delivers some strikes to Troy and nails him with Enz Igiri. Chen then follows it with a DDT, but Troy wins by hitting Chen with a sidewalk slam of splash and spinning.

After the match, Oba Femi appears and tells him he has the respect that Troy doesn’t attack him from behind like he did last week. Femi then tells Troy that he hoped he enjoyed his five seconds of fame as he is now finished for him.

After that, we head backwards. There, Charlie Dempsey approaches Miles Born and Tabion Heights and laughs at them for failing as a single wrestler. Borne takes the exception and says he has proven himself. Len then praises Bourne. Borne challenges Dempsey to prove himself. Dempsey then says it’s a round match and that as long as both men agree, they’ll do it.

Ethan Page waits in the ring and grabs the microphone. The page starts with saying he isn’t waiting to celebrate becoming the new North American champion, but Jevon Evans’ music is a hit and he makes his exit. Evans says he can’t think of anyone who isn’t worthy of winning a North American championship, revealing that Ava has himself and Laredo Kid have won a shot in the title of the page on Worlds Collide. Kid introduces himself, but Page says that the child and Evans won’t ruin his night. Evans then reveals that another person is involved in a North American championship match at Worlds Colloid, and Ray Phoenix reveals himself as the person. Phoenix then says Page just became North American champion, but he will lose it next Saturday in the fatal four-way at Worlds Corrid.

We then see Ava having a conversation with his assistants Robert Stone and Stevie Turner. Turner and Stone talk about how Sean Legacy deserves a title shot of the three guys in the ring as they recently won. Ava says Legacy will be in the first line of the title after a world clash match.

Next, we see separate shots of Stephanie Verker and the fatal impact in the area behind the scenes. Vaquer faces Lash Legend as Vaquer heads towards the ring.

Then they see Tatum Paxley crying behind the scenes, and Sol Ruca and Zaria approach her. Zaria says her friend is around the corner, and Sol tells her to feel her feelings and wants to let her know if they are available to anyone. It is then shown that the culling is monitoring the background.

Fatal influence then proceeds towards the ring for the night’s main event and Stephanie Verker’s main event, but Jacee Jane jumps the Verker between the entrances and the referee rings the bell to begin the match.

WWE NXT Women’s Championship Match: “Dark Angel” Stephanie Verker (c) vs. Jayce Jane of Fatal Impact

The match begins with both women not wasting time chasing each other. Jacey then attacks Verker, but Verker winds up Yassie for a two count. Jane then escapes Booker T’s favorite wrestling hold. Vaquer then goes to Jayne’s Meteora, but Chika Tormenta and Dalys appear on the apron. Jane then tries to use a distraction and gets two count-offs of roll-up. Vaquer then hits Jayne at 619 and falls nearby.

Jane then flips into a penalty shoot over the sunset. Vaquer then returns with the Slinghot Axe handle. Jane then returns with a sling blade. Vaquer then spins around two tilts and returns two backbreakers at a time. Jane then gets a moment of rest after putting her face on the mat. Vaquer then bumps into Jayne with only food. Vaquer then paints Jayne with his boots and Meteora in two counts.

Jane then surprises the Verker with a knee strike. Vaquer then bumps into Jayne with a dragon screw that signs the corner. Jane then travels the Varker on an apron. Vaquer then places Jayne in an electric chair and bumps into her with snake-eyes in the apron. Vaquer then sends Jayne down the steel stairs. Vaquer then hits Jayne on the cord breaker with an implant buster. Henry is then on an apron, but accidentally gets knocked off by Jane.

The Knicks then attempt to maintain peace between Henry and Jane. Henry and Jane then push the Knicks aside. Vaquer then smacks Jayne and Henley on top rope diving. The Knicks then abandon Henry and Jane behind. Vaquer then hits Jayne on Back Suplex and follows it with Booker T’s favorite wrestling moves. Henry then hits 619 and breaks a rope-hanging cross arm breaker, and NYX distracts the referee. Jane then kneels and bumps into the Verker for victory.

After the match, the fatal impact celebrates with the title, taller and the show approaches its end.
