WWE NXT Fans Cautioned: Disruptions May Lead to Suspension or Removal from TV Tapings

WWE’s worries about inappropriate language during live broadcasts have become a reality, particularly affecting fans attending events in person. Recently, Dave Meltzer revealed that WWE has been asking fans at NXT tapings held at the Performance Center to refrain from swearing. A new report confirms this policy is already in effect.

According to Fightful Select, this is no longer just a consideration but a strict rule. Fans attending WWE NXT shows are explicitly requested to avoid using profanity, and those who disregard this warning face the possibility of being removed from the taping.

There were discussions about WWE requesting fans not to curse at events over the weekend. This practice had already been enforced at WWE Performance Center’s NXT gatherings, with individuals who continued using profane language being warned about potential removal from the television taping.

This update builds on Meltzer’s earlier remarks. On Wrestling Observer Radio, he elaborated on WWE’s motivation to keep the broadcast content clean for international audiences.

“People actually suggested this. ‘Hey, we’re here. It’s a TV show. It’s going out worldwide. We want you to enjoy it, so don’t swear because it ruins the TV show,'” Meltzer said.

WWE appears determined to control the crowd’s energy, especially when cameras are rolling. With NXT soon moving to the CW network, it’s not surprising the company wants to maintain tighter control over its presentation.

Fan Take: This move highlights WWE’s increasing focus on family-friendly content, which could affect the live atmosphere that fans love. It may lead to a more polished product on TV but risks losing some of the raw, passionate energy that defines the sport.
