AEW Dynamite Results (5/28/2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show begins with Excalibur, Ian Riccaboni and Taz welcoming us. Comments then send things to Tony Ciaborne, standing in the middle of the ring. Schiavone then heads into the ring, introducing the winners of the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament “Hangman” Adam Page and Page.
Excalibur, Ian Riccaboni and Taz won by talking about the war pages they went with Will Ospreay this Sunday night. Schiavone then brings Page’s big victory and gives him the microphone. Afterwards, the page begins to speak as the fans burst out loudly, “You deserve it!”. Page says that life’s victory is fleeting. After that, Page talks about the past two or three years of his life. Page says he lost sight of it. The page says it’s not about victory or loss, but about what you do with it.
Page thanks him for giving him the battle of his life, saying that one of them had to lose, while the other will taste victory. Page says he will not defend the Owen Hart Cup Tournament Championship and will not hand over the belt to Ciaborne, and he is talking about winning the 2025 Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament. Page says that it’s one thing now, and that’s the AEW World Championship. Page told fans that AEW is about creativity and passion, and on his first day at the company he will become his boss while he is part of AEW. Page promises to win the AEW World Championship and release it from the briefcase in which it exists. Page says he holds it above his head and protects it with every ounce of his existence.
Swerve Strickland’s music hits and he runs away. Strickland then sends to a clip of the dynamite version of the April 9th edition, saying that Strickland costs his match at the AEW World Championships in the AEW Dynasty for Page and won’t forget who his friend is. Strickland then says he played the match in the dynasty victory and asks Page if he really told the younger Bucks to cost him. Page vows he never told the Bucks, and then he said he went ahead with it. Strickland then says the page is “full of S ***”.
Will Osprey’s music is hit and he makes his way as Page and Strickland stare at each other. Osprey then tries to calm the two guys down, then stares at both of them, telling Strickland that he doesn’t like joining his business. Osprey says he considers Strickland as his older brother. Osprey then says the stakes aren’t higher than Sunday, but he loses. Ospreay then says that Page had a post-match choice with Double or Nothing, but he still chose to shake Ospreay’s hand. Ospreay says people are beginning to believe them, and the page is someone who can ultimately save AEW. Ospreay then suggests that Page and Strickland work together, but Strickland says they never go back and forth with the page.
Death Rider and Gabe Kid head towards the ring for the first match of the night and for Willow Nightingale, Mike Bailey and Mark Briscoe followers.
Mixed Trio Match: Death Rider (AEW World Champions John Moxley and Marina Shafir) and Gabe Kid vs Willow Nightingale, Mark Brisco, “Speedball” Mike Bailey
The match begins with Gabe Kidd and Mark Briscoe, with both men delivering their right hands to each other. Marina Shafir begins to brawl with Nightingale as the Speedball delivers her right hand to Moxley. Brisco then sets up the chair and uses it as a launch pad to nail Moxley and Kid to the outside. Shafir then tag him and offers several kicks to Brisco’s chest as Moxley holds him in place. Moxley and Speedball then tag in, and Speedball hits a missile dropkick on Moxley. The speedball then hits a scissor kick on Moxley’s spine, chases it with a standing moons, nailing him with a kick on his chin.
Nightingale and Shafir then tag the Nightingale tags and nail Shafir with a series of clothesline loans. Nightingale then pursues it with a hip attack, nails Shafir with her boots, smacks her with a spine buster, seeks pins. Kid breaks autumn, but Brisco washes him out of the ring. Shafir then hits the German suppression with a speedball, then nails the Nightingale with a clothesline and a speedball tag. Moxley then tags him on his side, but Utah slips the chair into the ring as a distraction. He then pushes the speedball off the top rope and Kid crashes the timekeeper’s table.
Moxley then tags and trades for a speedball for a strike. Kid then sees Chris Stallander watching the action from backstage and tag Briscoe with an apron and knocks him. Brisco then delivers Kid with some forearms tagged, but Kid bites Briscoe and delivers him some chops and a headbutt. Brisco then dropkicks the Kid through the rope and fly to land on Moxley, and the Speedball hits the Moonzoo on the Springboard and hits the Nail Kid on the outside.
Claudio Castagnoli is jumping on an apron, while Commander walks through Castagnoli by walking on ropes and nails. Brisco then rolls Moxley, but Moxley kicks out and hits DDT with Briscoe. Kidd lines up on the crossface of Speedball as Shafir is locked up in the Nightingale and the judge calls for the Bell.

Next, get the video package for The Hurt Syndicate. They are excited after maintaining the AEW World Tag Team Championship and MJF successfully made their debut as their latest member. MJF says he’s looking forward to regaining the AEW world title, but The Hurt Syndicate is not personal, it’s just business.
Next, you’ll get some simple words from Megan Bene and Penelope Ford, then work with Anna Jay and Harley Cameron in a DQ tag team match. Bayne and Ford say they will make the next sacrifice to Jay and Cameron.
After that, we head backwards. There, Ricochet talks about getting land laying in AEW after double or nuts. Ricochet sees all factions here and says he needs his own crew. Ricochette says that once he finds the perfect crew, he will show everyone why he is out of this world. Ricochet laughs.
Megan Bene and Penelope Ford will go to the ring for the next night’s match, followed by Harley Cameron and Anna Jay.

The match begins with Anna Jay sending Penelope Ford to the barricade. Ford nails Jay with his right hand and crashes into the barricade. Cameron then returns to the ring and hits DDT with Ford and pins her, but Bane breaks the fall.
Jay then grabs 2 x 4 pieces of wood and stares at Bein, but Cameron smacks her with the pipe. Jay then grabs a chair and bumps into Bane, continuing to take shots with her as Cameron uses the pipe to do the same. Bane then crashes into the golden chair she first brought to Ringface, and Cameron and Jay are Ford’s double team and she first crashes into the spine of the chair. Cameron and Jay then set up a table outside the ring.
Cameron and Bane then brawled in an apron near the table, with Cameron and Jay set up on the outside. Cameron then looks at the Powerbomb Bain from the apron towards the Powerbomb Bain to help Jay and Jay hit the Bainu in the Golden Chair.
Inside the ring, Ford puts Jay on a chair and appears to hit Moonzoo. Jay then rolls out of the way, and Ford crashes into a chair, but Bane first causes Cameron to crash into Ringstep’s face. Jay then slams a gory bomb with a Ford on a chair and goes to Pin, but Bane breaks autumn. Bane then crashes Jay into a chair with an F5 and goes to Pin, but Cameron breaks Fall. Cameron is then attacked with a spear by Bane, who places Cameron on his shoulder. Ford then slams the clothesline at Cameron’s top as Bayin hits her a Japanese sea cyclone suppression for victory.

After the match, Bane and Ford dealt a little more damage to Cameron before celebrating to leave the ring.
They then receive a graphic reminder that Mercedes Monet and Tonystorm meet face to face. We then head to the car park where the TBS Champion and the 2025 Women’s Owen Hart Cup appear to be very pleased with themselves.
OPPS then heads into the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Frat House. Jacked Jameson then cuts the promotion at El Paso before the match begins.
Non-title match: AEW World Trios defends OPPS (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata).
The match begins before Joe sends Jacked Jameson out of the ring, before chasing Vance while chaos breaks out at ringside. Vance and Samoa lock up, and Joe delivers a chop to Vance. Shibata and the garrison then tag in and exchange strikes with each other, but Shibata hits a dropkick at the rison park in the corner. Powerhouse Hobbs and Karter are then tagged in, and Hobbs delivers several clotheslines repeatedly to Carter. The other members of Frat House try to enter the ring, but Hobbs defeats them all. Hobbs nails Vance with a spinebuster and attacks the second hit with the Culter for victory.

Renee Puckett then welcomes Jamie Hater and deals with things after a double or nothing. Hater is asked if she has time to think about what happened on Sunday, but the light goes out before she can answer. Before the lights light up again, Thekla announces her presence by attacking Hayter in the ring. Thekla then unscrewed Hayter and then stared at the camera, forcing Hayter to leave the ring.
Next, get the video package to watch the legendary Lucador Misfico from CMLL.
Afterwards, Kyle Fletcher sees what happened with the double, not appearing in Tanahashi Hiroshi, and heads into the ring for the next match in the evening. Adam Cole then heads to the ring.
AEW TNT Championship Match: Paragon Adam Cole (C) vs. “Protostal” Kyle Fletcher from the Don Charis family
The match begins and both men waste no time chasing each other and locking up. Fletcher then sends the call to the corner before the referee intervenes. Fletcher then attacks Cole and Cole, who then drops Cole to the mat. Fletcher then blocks a takeover on the side headlock and sends Cole hard onto the ropes, but Cole fights back due to a forearm strike. Fletcher then fights back with a body slam, but when Cole returns to his foot, he hits a big kick on Fletcher before sending Fletcher into the corner for a few stomps.
Fletcher is then sent to the corner, avoiding a single kick by a call. RPG Vice tries to get involved, but is sent by Paragon. Cole then chases after Fletcher, but Fletcher takes Cole to the apron with a power bomb. Fletcher has Cole in the ring as he continues chasing his arm until Cole takes Fletcher out with a super kick. Both men are standing up when they exchange strikes. Cole is then attacked further with Fletcher. Cole then asks for the cover, but Fletcher kicks out with two.
Cole then heads towards the corner, but Fletcher opposes for himself, two counts from the Panama sunrise. Cole then hits a half-half suppression on Fletcher and follows it at the Panama sunrise. Cole then sets a boom, but Josh Alexander attacks him and the referee calls for Bell.

After the match, Alexander and Fletcher continue to beat Cole until Brody King goes to the ring with a chair for a save. King pushes Alexander and Fletcher outwards. It reminds me of King and Josh facing off, and the next match will happen.
Security has cleared everyone from the ringside area and the next game of the evening is ongoing.
AEW International Championship 4-way Qualifying Match: Joshu Alexander of Hounds of Hell’s Brody King vs. Don Callis Family’s “The Walking Weapon”
The match begins with both men trading heavy strikes in the ring. King slams Alexander into his chest with a forearm strike. King goes to slap Alexander with a chop, but Alexander dodges it and chases King’s hand. Alexander then takes the King to the apron, then returns to the ring to break the number of judges, and takes the King to the barricade. King fights back with a chop that sends Alexander to the floor. Alexander does his best to avoid the King by returning to the ring, but King continues his attack until Alexander escapes the ring to exhale. Alexander then blocked a dive from the king and then hit him with a DDT to send the king’s head to the apron. Alexander then smacks King with a chop and body block on his chest, sending him to the floor outside.
Alexander then breaks the number of judges once more before chasing the King at the barricade. Alexander then sends King to the ringstep. Alexander then sends King back into the ring with his armbar before King returns to his feet. King then attacks Alexander with a German suppression. Alexander then returns to his feet, but is again taken down with the Lariat. Both men are down and the referee starts a 10 count, but after ripping the turnbuckle pads, both men return as King stands up to the corner. Alexander sends King’s arm to the exposed turnbuckle. Alexander seeks a suppression on the apron, but King fights him. Alexander then slams King into the most difficult part of the ring with a German suppression.
Alexander then places King in a chair, but King fights back and charges him instead with Alexander. King then sends Alexander back into the ring, and Alexander heads towards the corner and dodges King’s Cannonball. Alexander then grabs the king’s leg in search of the ankle key, but King kicks him out and gets free, then drops him on the mat. Alexander then bridges the German suppression and attacks King, but only gets two counts. Alexander has blood on him as he climbs for an air attack, but King cuts him off with his knees and wins Alexander with a lariat and a gunso bomb.

After the match, King prefers his right arm and asks the referee to raise his left hand. As Alexander remains in the ring, King leaves the ring for the high five.
After that, we head backwards. There, Kyle Fletcher expresses his dissatisfaction with the interference that leads to losing a shot in the TNT Championship before Adam Cole himself chases Fletcher. Security breaks it when Cole tells Fletcher he is the man who died.
Mercedes Monet then heads into the ring to showcase her title collection, including the title she won by winning the 2025 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Next, the Owen Heart Cup trophy will be displayed, just like the CEO is working on El Paso. Monet talks about legends like Owen Hart and her inspiration Eddie Guerrero, and what they don’t compare to her. Monet is quickly cut off by the “timeless” Toni Storm, AEW’s women’s world champion, arrives towards the ring.
Storm has a microphone and puts the title on the mat, and Monet says fans are tired of black and white and want a champion full of colour. Storm then says hello and she has been waiting for a long time to meet Monet. Storm then made history and remains undefeated, addressing Monet’s debut in a show named after her. Storm said they had never met or spoken, and Monet claimed this was the match she wanted most, so it took so long. Monet is patient and says that Arashi was waiting for a reason as she is a female wrestling Beyoncé. Storm responds by saying she is a pro wrestling Toni Storm. Monet says Arashi has changed from the shy woman he met 10 years ago, and so does she. Monet says she is no longer a boss and she is the CEO. Monet then talks about the biggest game ever awaiting them both in Texas.
The Storm addresses similar paths and how they allowed who they really were, but be aware of the biggest differences between them. Storm says that Monet wants all the titles, but she needs it. Storm says that if Monet wanted to ride the Money Train and enter the Toni Tunnel, he hoped it would get deep enough. Storm then calls Monet one of the greatest ever, but unfortunately her storm just happens to be timeless. Monet then tells Storm that she calls herself timeless, but she deserves to be nearing the end. Monet and the storm stare at each other, and Monet reaches out her hands to the storm. The storm shakes it, but Monet closes the storm. Storm sniffs Monet and kisses her hand, but Monet sets up a bloody bomb in the storm. Storm then reverses it to Storm Zero, but Monet rolls out of the ring before she reaches the move, and the show ends.
