"This year, I want to get back into the ring, really train, and rediscover myself," Saraya told TV Insider, adding that she feels she hasn’t done this in recent years.
Saraya officially parted ways with AEW in March 2025 after two successful years with the company. Since then, she has been considering her next steps, including a possible return to WWE, where she originally gained fame as Page.
When asked about coming back to WWE, Saraya revealed she’d prefer to revive her beloved "Paige" character rather than continue using Saraya. "I’m going back to Page. I love that persona. I love Page. I love music," she said.
The timing is particularly intriguing as WWE recently announced their groundbreaking all-women’s premium live event, Evolution, scheduled for July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. This marks the first Evolution event since the inaugural show in 2018, creating an ideal platform for major returns.
Saraya is also interested in trying match types she never got to experience, such as the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, because a neck injury in 2017 forced her into early retirement before these matches were introduced to the women’s division in 2018.
Though she hasn’t had direct communication with WWE yet, Saraya praised the company’s growing openness to allowing talent creative freedom outside of wrestling, which she sees as a positive sign for her potential comeback.
Currently, Saraya is focusing on projects outside the ring, including her new memoir "Hell in Boots" and her podcast "Roolbreakers." However, her recent talks about training and returning to condition suggest wrestling fans may not have seen the last of this two-time Diva Champion.
