Not everyone can be Rey Mysterio, so it’s important that smaller wrestlers receive equal respect and have a space dedicated to that unique cruiserweight and junior heavyweight style,” he said.
Alexander also likened it to weight classes in combat sports, saying it brings authenticity to matches and allows exciting pairings like “Phoenix versus Penta,” which he described as thrilling and unpredictable.
