The AEW roster has seen another significant change as Bear Bronson’s time with the company comes to an end. On Saturday, May 31, Bronson announced that his contract expired on June 1, making him an official free agent.

Bronson, best known as part of the Iron Savages tag team with Bear Boulder, faced uncertainty after Boulder was released from AEW in February 2025 following an assault arrest in January. The duo had joined AEW in May 2020 but never captured the Tag Team Championship.

His departure is the latest in a series of roster changes at AEW. Recently, Abaddon revealed their contract was not renewed, and Mariah May was also removed from the AEW roster, fueling speculation that several talents might be transitioning to WWE.

In addition to AEW, Bronson has also competed in ROH. Now, he must chart his future path in wrestling outside of Tony Khan’s promotion.

Fan Take: Bear Bronson’s exit underscores the ongoing shifts within AEW’s lineup, signaling a potential shakeup in the tag team division. This move highlights the fluid nature of wrestling careers and could open doors for fresh talent, impacting AEW’s competitive landscape and fan engagement.
