Karrion Kross Opens Up About Moving Forward Following WWE’s Release of AOP

2 Min Read

Known as The Final Will, Karrion Kross teamed up with Paul Ellering and Scarlett throughout 2024. However, in February 2025, WWE released Ellering and the tag team AOP (Akam and Rezar), leaving Kross and Scarlett as the remaining members. In a recent interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Kross opened up about how he felt after his former stablemates were let go.

Kross said, “They gave me AOP and Paul Ellering. I didn’t really know them, though I grew up watching Paul on TV. One minute you’re here, the next you’re not. It was a tough blow and frustrating. There was nothing you could do, just accept the reality and keep moving forward.”

Reflecting on the run-up to WrestleMania in Las Vegas, Kross remarked, “There were a lot of emotions. Everything happened as it did, and while things were chaotic, I wouldn’t change a thing.”

Despite feeling down after the releases, Kross has bounced back stronger than ever. Fans have been closely following his journey both in WWE and on social media. His renewed success is partly due to compelling storytelling and the build-up to Postrest Tourmania, where Kross passionately expressed his frustration over limited opportunities in WWE. He believes that what has unfolded over the last five years has naturally drawn fans in. “What’s happening right now is definitely crazy,” he said.

Fan Take: This news is significant for WWE fans as it highlights the resilience and growth of a talented performer who faced setbacks but continued to rise. Karrion Kross’s journey is a testament to perseverance and the power of storytelling in wrestling, which could translate into even bigger moments and fresh narratives for the sport going forward.
