Superstar’s Injury Sparks Epic Clash Between WWE and AAA Worlds

2 Min Read

Joaquin Wilde, a member of LWO, has been pulled from the six-man tag team match at the upcoming WWE X AAA Worlds Collide event this Saturday due to an injury. On the June 3rd WWE NXT episode, it was announced that former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Lin Sedradorado will step in to replace Wilde.

In the revised match lineup, Dorado will team up with Cruz Del Toro and Dragon Lee to face AAA’s Aero Star, Octagon Jr., and Mr. Iguana. Wilde suffered a knockout during a WWE Speedmatch against Lexis King on June 2nd, just before WWE Raw aired. Though Wilde reassured fans on social media that he is “okay” following the knockout, WWE has modified the card for the Los Angeles event.

The updated Worlds Collide event will stream on Peacock and Netflix this Saturday, featuring the following matches:

– AAA MEGA Championship: Vikingo Son (c) vs. Chad Gable
– NXT North American Championship: Ethan Page (c) vs. Jevon Evans vs. Ray Phoenix vs. Laredo Kid
– Stephanie Verker & Laura vs. Dalis & Chik Trumenta
– Ghost Legacy vs. Dr. Wagner Jr.’s son Psycho Piero & Pagano
– LWO (Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro & Lince Dorado) vs. Aero Star, Octagon Jr. & Mr. Iguana

Fan Take: This last-minute change highlights how unpredictable and intense the WWE and AAA crossover events can be, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. It also underscores the depth of talent in WWE’s roster, as Lin Sedradorado’s involvement promises fresh dynamics and excitement for the sport.
