Kazuchika Okada has reacted to the official announcement of his upcoming match against Kenny Omega at AEW in Texas, scheduled for Saturday, July 12th. The announcement was made during last night’s AEW Dynamite, hinting at a moment teased since Omega’s return to wrestling in January. AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that Omega and Okada will face off in a singles match in 2025.

Omega has held the AEW International Championship since March and recently defended it in a four-way match on AEW Dynamite.
