Lince Dorado Steps In Swiftly, Replacing Knocked-Out WWE Star at Worlds

Joaquin Wilde alarmed WWE fans recently when members of the LWO faction were hurt during a match taped for “WWE Speed” against Lexis King. Wilde later disclosed that he suffered a concussion during the bout but is set to compete at the upcoming Worlds Collide event.

According to reports from Pwinsider Elite, Wilde will no longer participate in the Worlds Collide match alongside Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro against Aero Star. Instead, he will be replaced by Lince Dorado, a former member of the Lucha House Party. Dorado was a regular on WWE shows like “NXT” and “205 Live” from 2016 to 2021. Since being released from WWE, he has been active on the independent circuit and also appeared in AEW and TNA. Earlier this year, Dorado returned to WWE primarily for dark matches and NXT live events, with Worlds Collide marking his first televised WWE match since 2021.

Wilde’s match against Lexis King might have been canceled, while King and Noam Dar recently had their match recorded at the WWE Performance Center for “WWE Speed.” Dorado was initially expected to attend the Saturday show. Many former WWE stars have now joined AAA, which WWE recently acquired. Notables like Savio Vega and “Moody” Jack Melendez are involved, while El Hijo del Vikings has already won the AAA Mega Championship, highlighting AAA’s growing synergy with WWE. Vega notably appeared at Puerto Rico’s 2023 Backlash event, aiding Bad Bunny in a street fight. WWE officially announced its acquisition of AAA during WrestleMania 41 weekend in April.
