Ospreay has taken on a significant challenge.
During tonight’s AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest Special, Tony Schiavone interviewed Arial Assassin. They showed a video package of Recup Will trying to persuade Swerve Strickland to support Hangman Page in his upcoming match.
This follows Ospreay’s loss to Adam Page at the Owen Final during last month’s Double or Nothing event, where Page won the AEW World Title from John Moxley.
Ospreay admitted he was embarrassed and acknowledged that trying to align Page and Strickland wasn’t a smart move. However, he emphasized that Moxley remains a major threat, and if Page and Strickland can set aside their differences just for a night, they might be able to take the belt from him.
He then directly criticized the AEW World Champion, claiming Moxley is the reason AEW is currently struggling despite its wealth of talent. Ospreay also expressed concern that Swerve Strickland could become a threat as well.
Ospreay told the former AEW champion that while he would take a bullet for him, he would prioritize AEW first. He challenged the former NXT star to a match scheduled for next week’s special four-hour summer blockbuster event.

The match was officially added to Tony Kern’s upcoming shows, alongside several other matches. The refreshed lineup for the June 11 event includes:

- 6-Man Tag Team Match: "Speedball" Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight, Commander vs. Heart Syndicate
- Single Match: Anthony Bowens vs. Kyle Fletcher
- Single Match: "Timeless" Toni Storm vs. Julia Hart
Additionally, the company confirmed that Miscoe will compete at the show, although his opponent has yet to be announced. TBS Champion Mercedes Mone is expected to provide commentary for the Toni Storm match.
