Alex Windsor has officially joined All Elite Wrestling (AEW), confirming her new association with the promotion.
At the Pro Wrestling: Eve event on June 6th, Windsor challenged Shuri for the IWGP Women’s Championship. However, the bigger news came after the match when Windsor secretly recorded a message while Syuri held the title, revealing this would be her last bout on the independent scene for a long time. She then astonished fans by announcing her signing with AEW.
With a 16-year wrestling career, Windsor has been a prominent figure in the UK independent wrestling world. Her journey has taken her to Japan, wrestling for Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling and competing in NJPW. Earlier this year, she appeared in AEW and Ring of Honor, hinting at more frequent appearances ahead.
