WWE RAW Results (6/9/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show will be showing the exterior of the host venue when Michael Cole welcomes us. Cole then recounts her behind-the-scenes arrival with new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, WWE Hall of Fame Nicky Bella, “Ring General” Gunther and WWE World Heavyweight Champion “Main Event” Jauthor.

Cole then lists tonight’s attendance at 14,361, saying the venue is sold out. We then get a video package that re-searched this week’s WWE money, which was a collision between the bank last Saturday’s bank and WWE X AAA Worlds.

The uncontroversial music of WWE champion John Cena is hit and he moves towards the ring. Ring announcer Alicia Taylor introduces John Cena, who grabs the microphone. Cena begins by saying that she will tell you something every time the fans open their mouths. They taught him money in the bank, that the truth is a lie. Cena then says the fans opened their mouths and wasted their energy savings, and the biggest achievement saved the sideshow comedian pretending to be him. Cena then asks the fans if they think they have actually achieved something and calls an armchair activist who has no real power to turn the fans anything. Cena says R-Truth is a gimmick that fans don’t care about for a year, and fans are his retirement tour and he’s only 19 days left, so he’ll never use him to make another profit for one of his sympathy parties. Cena then says that his retirement tour ended midway through and tells the fans to send real competition, not the class clown. Cena then says that fans beat everyone who cheered from truth to Cody Rhodes to Randy Orton.

CM punk music hits and he moves towards the ring. Punk asks Cena if she’s comfortable. Punk tells Cena that he wants him to be comfortable as there is plenty to get off his chest. Punk says he’s not defending the facility. Punk says he’s not standing on TKO or defending the billionaire. Punk says he’s defending people. Punk asks Cena if he’s mad because the facility chose him, but the fans never did. Punk says he wasn’t there to kiss the butt of the last boss like Cena. Punk says people are his boss. Cena then holds the title belt. Punk says it’s his job to give people what they want, and if they want the truth, he’ll give them Ron Murder.

Punk says, like everyone else in WWE, he knows that he’s talking on the wheel and that it includes Cena. Punk warns Cena that he is coming for the incontroversial WWE Championship, recalling his encounter in the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber Match, and Cena is sorry when he was locked up by him. Punk says that Cena knows what she’s doing is wrong and everyone behind would want to be an indisputable WWE champion, but she can’t actually do that. Punk says he has to be a monster to defeat a monster, and he sees the indisputable WWE Championship as belonging to people. Punk has 19 days left for Cena, and some will be going to face off for the indisputable WWE Championship, but tonight he dares. Cena then agrees, but instead says she will defend the indisputable WWE Championship at WWE Night of Champions, not tonight.

Seth Rollins’ music is a hit and he goes to the ring with money in a bank briefcase with WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, Bron Blakeker and Bronson Reed. Punk then tells Cena, “You’re on,” and Cole points it out. Rollins then lifts money in the bank’s briefcase, but Cole says it’s a reminder that Rollins can always win cash with the champion.

Cole then introduced Wade Barrett as a colour commentator, adding that Pat McAfee is spending the night. They then hype the King and Queen of the Ring match that takes place during the show.
