Paul Hayman joins Ethan Page rumours and Ricky Starks joins Seth Rollins faction

Wrestling fans were stirred after it was reported that WWE was expanding Seth Rollins’ dominant raw faction with Ethan Page and Ricky Starks. But Paul Heyman threw cold water on all of it – and he did it with a single Instagram story.

Heyman applauded shortly after multiple outlets ran with rumors that WWE had pitched a new name to join the Rollins-Heyman-Breakker Alliance. Without naming his name, he posted a screenshot of the article.

“It’s not #aprilfoolsday, so I think it’s #clickbaitthursday.” He wrote on Instagram stories.

That message came after he first reported that both Ethan Page and Ricky Starks were being discussed internally as potential new members of the group. Page recently made his NXT debut after leaving AEW, but Starks is now a free agent after his own AEW run.

The faction was formally formed when Bronson Reed attacked CM Punk and joined Rollins, Heyman and Bron Breakker Saturday night main event May 24th. The surprise move transformed the trio into a four-man destruction crew, but Heyman’s post suggests that it’s over.

Despite multiple sites running variations of the same story, Heyman’s public denials fall into rumours, but fans know he’s not familiar with Swerves.
