Canadian wrestling enthusiasts are facing serious federal charges following a shocking stalking event involving an attempt to break into WWE women’s tag team champion Liv Morgan’s home in Florida.
An FBI affidavit, recently made public, reveals that Sean Chan, 41, from Scarborough, Ontario, was caught on surveillance footage trying to gain entry to Morgan’s house on May 31. Chan reportedly traveled to Orlando on May 26 and appeared at Morgan’s residence four days later. The video shows him walking around the property, repeatedly testing the front door handles in search of spare keys.
After failing to enter, Chan was seen picking up an air rifle from a pouch and holding the weapon in the footage. The affidavit describes the weapon as a Sig Sauer MCX .177 air rifle capable of firing metal pellets at speeds of 600 feet per second.
More than two hours later, Chan left a handwritten note near the main entrance with his name and contact details, apologetically stating, “I came here and came here to pay a friendly visit.”
On June 3, Chan showed up at the WWE Performance Center during a taping attended by Morgan. After security staff reviewed the surveillance videos and received warnings about him, Chan was recognized and authorities were alerted. Upon arrest, officers discovered two bottles of liquid on him, one of which he claimed was medication for treating wounds like bleeding.
Morgan informed police she had no prior knowledge of Chan. He faces one count of interstate violence and is due in federal court in Orlando on July 18.
