TNA Wrestling’s Elijah has been facing a challenging period, dealing with injuries from a recent WWE NXT match. On top of that, he was also a victim of theft outside Wrestlecon.
During the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan revealed that Elijah’s belongings were stolen at this year’s tournament in Las Vegas during WrestleMania Week. The thief took nearly everything from Elijah’s table, leaving only his guitar behind.
“Someone stole his stuff—like the table and everything else. I think the only thing they didn’t take was his guitar. But his bag and everything else, it’s just all gone. It’s pretty awful,” Konnan explained.
Elijah sustained torn triceps on the June 17th episode of WWE NXT following a double knee strike to his opponent’s chest, which was followed by a harsh landing. He has since undergone successful surgery to repair the injury.
With wrestling off the table for now, Elijah is depending on convention appearances to earn income, which makes the theft even more detrimental. At SESCOOPS, we wish him a speedy and full recovery.
Fan Take: This news is particularly disheartening for TNA Wrestling fans because it highlights the struggles wrestlers face both in and out of the ring. Elijah’s resilience during this tough time is inspiring and reminds us of the dedication required to succeed in this sport.
