The countdown to the WWE Night of Champions pre-show opens with a shot of the city and several wrestlers arriving. Then you get the intro told by Tom Rinaldi.
Michael Cole then welcomes us and introduces panel Jackie Redmond and other members of Wade Barrett. The panel then passes through the cards for today’s show. Byron Saxton will provide you with the latest updates on preparing for today’s match with the king and queen finalists. The panel then talks about the indisputable WWE Championship match.
It will then receive further discussion from the panel and be sent to a video package of WWE’s collaboration with Saudi Arabia.
Wade Barrett looks back at the Queen of the Ring Tournament and receives more discussions from the panel.
Byron Saxton is currently interviewing Jade Cargill. Saxton asks Cargill where he is for this match. Cargill says she is focused. Cargill says there is a little girl who can’t wait to see her return home with the crown. Cargill says Asuka has started a fire that should not be put out. The panel then talks about the Queen of the Ring Tournament.
Then take a look at the street fight between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez.
We then see Jackie Redmond interviewing Rhea Ripley early today. Ripley is asked about his current hatred towards Raquel Rodriguez. Ripley says it’s all Rodriguez’s fault. Ripley says they were NXT’s best friends. Ripley says she felt like they were family. Ripley says she loved her like her sister. Ripley says her career took off and faced Shayna Baszler for the title. Ripley says everything has changed. Ripley says it reminds her of what Rodriguez meant.
Redmond then asks Ripley what he will do to win. Ripley says she will definitely do anything. Afterwards, Ripley says that the last woman is standing and there is a no-hold ban match, each one wins. Ripley says she’ll do anything to put Rodriguez on the ground as she’s a thorn on her side. Ripley says he wants to crush Rodriguez into his face, knowing everything that Rodriguez is struggling to get here. Redmond then asks Ripley what this victory means to return to the championship picture. Ripley says he won’t stop anything to get the baby back. Ripley says he did something he wasn’t proud of, but he has to do it again. Ripley says he has to go through people again to get there. Ripley says why is she here if she doesn’t want the title. Ripley then says she wants to be a top dog and she has to show anyone and anyone.

Then, take a look at the 1-1 match between Sami Zain and Karion Cross.
Byron Saxton is currently interviewing Karion Cross and Scarlett. Saxton asks Cross what he’s trying to prove. Cross says he’s proving the truth he’s seeing. Kross says Zayn is a misdirectional artist. Cross says it’s a charade. Kross says Zayn tries to make him believe he is another man. Cross says Zayn is a violent person. Kross says Zayn uses sympathy as a weapon. Cross then brings bloodline. Cross says that everyone is talking about Zayn’s story about becoming a world champion, but no one asks about his story. Cross says that everyone is talking about his story and that he doesn’t want another viral moment.

WWE Night of Champions Results (6/28/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
WWE Night of Champions opens with a shot of the city. Afterwards, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zain, Karion Cross, Scarlett, Rhea Ripley, Raquel Rodriguez, Larva, Jade Cargill and CM Punk arrive at the arena.
Then you get the video package narrated by Tom Rinaldi. After that, we receive a big fireworks display as Michael Cole and Wade Barrett welcome us to the show. They are also welcomed by the Arabic commentary team.
Randy Orton then goes to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Cody Rhodes.
King of the Ring Tournament Final Round Match: “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes vs. “Vipper” Randy Orton
The match begins with both men locking and Rhodes nailing Orton and attacking him with the Bulldog. Rhodes then goes to Pin, but Orton kicks him out. Orton then responds with Rhodes’ superplex from the ropes, but Rhodes nails him with a disaster kick and goes to another pin. Orton then kicks out and Rhodes bounces off the top of his thigh. Rhodes then uses a ring post to wear Orton’s spine and bring the wrench back to him, but Orton runs through Rhodes with a pair of stories and a scoop paus rulam.
Rhodes then claps his right hand on Orton’s spine, chases it with a springboard neckbreaker, then slaps him with a cody cutter out of the corner. Orton then hits a DDT hanging on Rhodes and sets up for RKO, but Rhodes counters to Crossroads and goes to Pin. Orton then kicks out. Orton then hits RKO with Rhodes and asks for a pin, but Rhodes kicks out. Rhodes is then carved into Orton’s leg lock in Figure 4, but Orton reverses to the leg lock in Figure 8. Rhodes then temporarily returns it to the figure’s four leg locks, but Orton grabs the bottom rope and breaks the hold.
Orton and Rhodes then deliver their right hands to each other, but Rhodes sets up for a disaster kick at Orton. Orton then counters RKO for a pin, but Rhodes kicks out again. Orton then grabs a chair from the timekeeper’s area and takes it into the ring, but the referee grabs it from him. When the judge disposes it, Orton reveals the top turnbuckle. Orton then tries to make Rhodes collide in the face first, but Rhodes blocks Orton and crashes first into the armpit. Rhodes then tracks it on Crossroads for victory.
Winner and King of the Rings of 2025, “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes!
After the match, Cody Rhodes is crowned by SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis and raw general manager Adam Pierce. Byron Saxton then enters the ring and interviews Rhodes. Saxton then congratulates Rhodes and asks him about his chance to regain the title at Summer Slam. Rhodes says he must thank Randy Orton. Rhodes says he only respects the man who mentored him and stood up for him. Rhodes says he knows well and listens to everyone. Rhodes then says the first Jay Lies, and Randy Orton. Rhodes then says he is facing CM Punk or John Cena at Summer Slam. Rhodes says he gets how he feels as an audience when he faces them. Rhodes says he was born to do this. Rhodes says they hold that title for him and in Summer Slam he will get the ball back.
WWE Tag Team champions The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) are shown to the crowd. Michael Cole then hypes the early start time of 5CT/6et Raw. Cole also says this is the 13th time WWE has held a premium live event in Saudi Arabia.
He then gets a video package for Rhea Ripley, Raquel Rodriguez and Ripley, and talks about how they were once friends and how much they have changed.

Street Fight: “Eradicator” Rare Ripley vs. Referee Day WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez
The match begins with both women locking up. Rodriguez then delivers his knee to Ripley’s midsection and appears to hit her in a vacation slam, but Ripley bounces Rodriguez’s head off her knees and appears to hit her with a story. Rodriguez is then standing on her legs, nailing Ripley with a clothesline, then bumping into two blowjobway slams, delivering her shoulders to the middle of the corner.
Rodriguez then splashes with a corner rippley, tie her to the ropes and hits an overhand chop. Rodriguez then grabs the chair and Kendo stick from under the ring and slaps Ripley with both the Kend stick and the chair. Ripley then unleashes herself, dropkicks Rodriguez from the ring, then sets up the Champions Night logo from an announcement desk in a barricade near the timekeeper’s area, clearing the Arabic Announcement desk. Ripley drags Rodriguez over it, then knocks her out and sets up for Hurriquerulana. Rodriguez then catches Ripley and passes her through the Powerbomb and the Champions night logo that Ripley has set in the timekeeper area.
Rodriguez then sets up a table in the corner of the ring and bouncing Ripley’s face off the presentation desk and ring apron. Rodriguez then removes one of the steps in the ring and places it sideways on the ring apron, but Ripley first hits Rodriguez in his face and removes the belt from his waist. Ripley then slams Rodriguez on the belt and continues as both women return to the ring.
Ripley then closes the company with Rodriguez’s Texas Clover, but Roxanne Perez slams Ripley from behind to break the hold. Perez then wears Ripley with a front face lock on the outside, but Ripley counters the floor suppression and grabs the trash can from under the ring. Ripley then places it on Perez’s head and hits her on the running knee, but Rodriguez scoos Ripley up and crashes first into the ring post face. Rodriguez then first hits Ripley into the ring step on the apron face, bringing Ripley’s corkscrew elbow out of the corner and going to the pin, but Ripley kicks out.
Rodriguez then tries to crash Ripley through a corner table, but Ripley refutes to Hari Canrana. Rodriguez then stops his momentum and runs through Ripley, moving the table and setting it up between the top turnbuckles. Ripley first causes Rodriguez to crash into the side of the table face, then repeatedly bouncing his face off from the top of the table, dragging it over it. Ripley slaps Rodriguez’s riptide from the top of the table for victory.

Michael Cole and Wade Barrett then summarise Julia by defeating Zelina Vega to win the Women’s American Championship on SmackDown on Friday, showing Julia standing in the crowd in the championship.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett head into the ring for PLE and Sami Zayn’s next match.
Single Match: Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross
The match locks up with both men and Zayn handing Kross the right hand and washing him out of the ring on top rope. Cross then hits Zayn with a T-bone suppression, stuffs his knee behind Zayn’s neck, and drapes it from the top rope with his knee. Cross then delivers some stomps to Zayn, then goes to Pin, but Zayn kicks out. Cross then gives Zayn his right hand, but Zayn returns his favor and nails Cross with the clothesline. He then delivers him some chops in the corner, then claps him more right hand.
Cross then places Zayn on his shoulder and hits him with the Death Valley driver before going to Pin, but Zayn kicks out. Zayn then hits an explosiver at Kross in the corner and sets up for the Helluva Kick. Cross then intercepts as Zayn charges at him, then lined up in his sleeper. Zayn then escapes and wins Kross’ Helluva Kick.

Michael Cole then hyped the WWE Survivor Series in San Diego and got video footage of Los Garza, who won the AAA World Tag Team title. Angel and Belt are shown wearing the championship while standing next to Santos Escobar in the crowd.
After that, you’ll get a video package that explores the rivalry between Jacob Fatu and Solosikoa.
Solosicore and J.C. Mateo proceed towards the ring for PLE and Jacob Fatu’s next match.
WWE US Championship Match: “Samoa Warehouse” Jacob Seed (c) vs Wipe Score
The match begins with Sikoa nailing Fatu. Fatu then beats Sicoa with the corner, giving him some stomping, screaming at him, bumping into a running Senton. Fatu appears to hit a suicide dive on the outer siko, but Siko smacks him with her right hand. Sicor then hits a spinning solo with Fatu in the ring apron before hitting him with a second spin on the floor and handing him the right hand, then heading back inside the ring to stomp him.
Sikor then attacks a hip attack on the horn’s Fatu, then submits him to polish him, attacking him with a German suppression. Fatu then recovers quickly, attacking the German suppression with a cicoa, which tracks it with a hip attack and an impaler. Fatu then climbs the top rope and hits Swanton’s bomb at Sicor and goes to Pin, but Sicor is kicked out.
JC Mateo then runs to the ring and deflects the referee as Fat climbs up to the top rope. The hooded figure pushes Fatu out of the top rope, revealing it to be a tangalore. Sicor then seeks the pin, but Fat kicks out. Fatu then flies through the top rope, nailing Mateo and Roa to the outside, then attacking a hip attack on Mateo in the corner, chasing it with his signature moonsust from the top rope. He then goes to Pin, but Hikleo breaks the fall fall by pulling Fatu out of the ring. He then sends a Fatu Crash on the Announcement Desk with a chokeslam, and Sicoa hits Samoan spikes with Fatuback in the ring for victory.

We then see WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton holding the championship in the crowd.
They then get a video package that sets up the Queen of the Ring Tournament Finals, and Asuka advances towards the ring for the next match of the night. Jade Cargill then proceeds towards the ring.
Queen of the Ring Tournament Final Round Match: “The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka vs. Jade Cargill
The match begins and both women waste no time chasing each other and locking up. Asuka then hits West Rock on Cargill. Cargill then slams the elbow on his back and runs away. Asuka then tightens the octopus, but Cargill escapes in a side slam, and she will be in the nearby autumn. Cargill misses the bike kick and Asuka slams the dragon screw on the rope. Asuka works on her lap. Asuka then hits the hamstring. Cargill then kicks Asuka, who hits a dropkick for the nearby fall. Asuka then hits a few kicks and Cargill goes to the chokeslam, but Asuka floats and applies the knee bar. Cargill then reaches her leg and hits the suppression of the wheelbarrow.
Cargill hits several forearms and spinebusters. Cargill then put his elbow on the corner and took a vacation. Cargill and then a thrust kick. Cargill then hits a nearly fall chokeslam. Asuka then kicks, and both women are down. Asuka and Cargill then exchange for their forearms. Cargill then has an advantage, but Asuka reclaims it with a fist on his back and a strike. Asuka then hit a missile dropkick in the nearby fall. Asuka then goes to Asuka’s rock, but Cargill refutes to try Asuka with what gets tired of the near-fall victory roll. Cargill is then a power bomb that sat for the nearby autumn. Asuka then hits a cross arm breaker with Cargill, but Cargill locks his hand and Asuka recovers the hold. Cargill kicks and Asuka gets tired. Asuka tightens the Asuka Lock and body scissors. Cargill then floats and fall soon. Asuka then hits round kicks and running hips, but Cargill catches her and bumps into her for the victory.

After the match, live general manager Adam Pierce and SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis present Cargill with the crown and congratulations her. Byron Saxton asks Jade Cargill about his victory and Summerslam. Cargill says the world was on her shoulders. Cargill says that those who fall on themselves praise themselves. Cargill says don’t let them know who you are. Cargill says he’s showing them. Cargill says a storm is coming at Summer Slam.
It was later announced that the WWE World Tag Team Championship will be on the RAW line as the new day defends against Finballer and JD McDonna. It has also been announced that Sheamus will face Rusev. The comments also hype Gunther vs. Goldberg for the World Heavyweight Championship at the main event on Saturday night July 12th.
Michael Cole then exaggerates that Rhea Ripley, Solo Sikoa and Paul Levesque appear on Champions night after the show.

The match begins and both men waste no time chasing each other and locking up. Cena crosses to Punk’s side headlock. Punk is lined up on Cena’s top wrist rock. Cena then reaches the ropes and forces her to rest. Both men lock again, and the punk is carved into Cena’s side headlock, but Cena escapes. Both men then go to Greco-Roman Knuckle Rock and Punk gets a side headlock takedown with Senna. Cena then closes the company across the scissors on her head with Punk and Punk’s escape. Then both men are locked again, and Punk gets a side headlock with Cena. Cena then gets a break and hits the wrist lock and the side headlock of the punk. Cena then hits Punk’s shoulder tackle.
Cena then punches Punk and hits the headbutt. Cena then punches a punk with the rope. After that, Cena hits a suppression with a punk, and it’s almost fall. Cena then hits Punk’s reverse chin lock and follows it with a shoulder tackle. Punk then places Cena over her shoulder, but Cena escapes and goes to the floor. Punk reboots with the turnbuckle while waiting for Cena to re-enter the ring. Punk then blocks the kick and hits some punches and kicks with Cena. Cena then gets a punk on the shoulder, and the punk rolls up for the nearby fall. Punk then delivers punches to Cena. Punk then wipes out Russian legs in China for the nearby autumn. Punk tightens the company with the bar on Cena’s arm. Punk then writes Cena’s arm and paints an octopus. Cena then escapes and he takes Punk to the mat, greeting the nearby autumn.
Cena then slaps the boots on Punk’s head. Cena then attacks Punk with two flying shoulder tackles and a blue lightning bomb. Cena then sets up on five knuckle shuffles to hit. Cena then punctures for attitude adjustment. Punk then escapes and slams the bulldog with a legged lariat and Senna. Punk then hits the knee with China, then goes up for a fall in the elbow and hits it. Punk then goes to GTS, but Cena blocks it and applies the STF. Punk then cinches with China and China’s choke. Cena then hits with a nearby autumn attitude adjustment. Punk then escapes another attitude adjustment and hits DDT. Punk then goes to STF, but Cena reaches the ropes. Punk then bumps his knee into the horn, but Cena avoids the bulldog and hits a blue lightning bomb. Punk then kicks Cena as she goes to adjust her attitude. After many counters, Cena makes a fall attitude adjustment that is closer to Punk’s attitude adjustment.
Cena then places Punk in the turnbuckle and Cena sets up for a super attitude adjustment, but Punk hits her elbow and sends Cena to the mat to return to the turnbuckle. Punk then hits the crossbody, but Cena rolls and punks on the shoulder for adjustments to his attitude, and Punk kicks out. Cena then goes to the floor and takes her belt into the ring, and the referee warns him. Cena sees the punk and throws her belt onto the floor. Cena then responds to an adjustment of attitude, but Punk escapes and hits in the fall near GTS. Punk and Cena traded punches, and Cena hit a kick. After that, both men trade more punches. Cena then hits a flying shoulder tackle and he misses a second shoulder tackle when the punk duck and umpire fall. Punk then hits the GTS. Punk then swings backwards for the umpire and Seth Rollins music and proceeds towards the ring with his group. Rollins then handed out his glasses to Paul Heyman, who removes his jacket. Rollins then makes a fist with his hands, and Bron and Reid chase after Punk. Punk then fights Bron and Reed and sends them to the floor. Punk then attacks Pescado with Bron and Reed, but Reed punches Punk. Reed and Bron hit a puncture with a double chokeslam through the announcement desk.
Rollins then stands in the ring and waves for the referee, but Cena punches Charles Robinson as she approaches the ring. Cena and Rollins have words. Rollins then misses Cena in the briefcase, and Cena hits Rollins’ attitude adjustment. Reed and Bron attack Cena and punch him. Afterwards, Penta’s music plays, he heads to the ring, Bron chases him and Reid continues his attack on Cena. Penta then hits a super kick on Bron, but Bron hits a backdrop on the ramp. After that, Sami Zain’s music plays, he comes out, he punches Bron and they fight against his back. Penta then hits a crossbody from Bron’s lamp, and Sami holds him. Punk pushes the lead off the turnbuckle when he goes to the Cena tsunami. Cena then adjusts Reed’s attitude. Punk then gives his hand to China, who shakes it up. Both men hug, but Cena appears to betray Punk. Punk sees Cena coming, but Rollins nails Punk with his briefcase and stomps him on the curb. Cena then uses Punk to win.

After the match, Cena leaves the ring and heads for the stage, while Rollins stays in the ring. Cena then looks at the camera and points to the ring, saying, “You’re watching this, you’re watching this.” Cena then lifts the champion and the screen turns black for a while. Cena then finishes the stage and Rollins shows some frustration while out with Heyman and Reid. The crowd then chans for a punk in the middle of the ring. Punk then tries to sit a few times, but svent sventyally does. Punk then goes to ringside to hug the fans, and the theme of his entrance plays and claps his hands with others while the show approaches.
