Tonight’s WWE Smackdown on July 4, 2025 was tapered live on June 30th from the PPG Paint Arena in Pittsburgh, PA shortly after WWE Raw.
The show will air this Friday at 8pm ET ET on the USA network and will be available for international streaming on Netflix. WWE SmackDown Spoiler Results (7/4/25): Full Match Results and Key Instants
Cody Rhodes kicks off Smackdown with a promotion in the ring, but it’s not too far before Randy Orton breaks. Orton admits that he couldn’t hit Cody’s punt kick, and says that Cody gained his respect for that moment. He then promises Cody to defeat John Cena in Summer Slam.
McIntyre laughs at the reverence between them as he tries to stir the pot. His plans backfire when Randy drops him with RKO.
Behind the scenes, Charlotte Flair is seen talking to Nick Aldis. Aldis suggests that Charlotte will work with Alexa Bliss to pursue the tag title. He offers them the first candidate match against Secret Service. After hesitation, Charlotte agrees to the idea.
Behind the scenes, Drew McIntyre will meet up with Nick Aldis to secure a match against Randy Orton in Atlanta next Saturday. After a while, Jacob Fatu meets Aldis. It has been revealed that Fatu and Big Jim will be working on a match between the two members of Solo’s Stable tonight.
Triple Threat Tag Team Match: Michin & B-Fab will join the Secret Service and the Charlotte Flair & Alexablis team. Alexa Bliss won her team. After the match, Alexa shared a brief embrace with Charlotte Flair.
Wyatt Sids vs Belt, Johnny Gargano, Montesford, Chris Sabin. Wyatt Sids secured the victory and Eric Rowan pinned Chris Sabin to finish the match.
Tiffany Stratton heads into the ring to deal with upcoming matches against Jade Cargill at Summerslam, but that’s not what she’s in her mind. Tiffany also says he plans to defend the title with WWE Evolution. Jade Cargill is interrupted, but Tiffany reveals that her evolutionary enemy is not Jade – it’s Trish Stratus. Trish leaves halfway through her and accepts the challenge. Two trade words before parting.
Fraxiom faced Andrade and Rey Fenix in tag team action. In the end, Andredo and Phoenix won.
Behind the scenes, the Damien priest approaches Aleister Black and tries to explain aspects of R. Truth. The priest reveals that next week’s match was played between R-Truth and Black. The conversation quickly becomes heated as tension begins to rise between the priest and the Aleister.
Main Event: Jacob Fatu, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sicor and JC Mateo. Jacob Fatu secured Solosicore cleanly in tag team matches, but there was no interference. After the match, Fatu attempted to put a solo on the announcement table, but Hikleo hurriedly stopped him. Tonga Roa followed, and the table was turned along with the solo. The show ended with Solo and his group standing tall after hitting a shield-style triple power bomb on Fatu.
After the show aired, Cody Rhodes and Jayuso helped Jacob Fatu, fighting Solosikoa and his group, sending the crowd home. This didn’t appear to be part of the official smackdown taping and looked just for the live audience at the arena.
