The WWE Championship changes have been officially confirmed following tonight’s live event, after the previous champion was injured. During WWE Raw, Finbarol and JD McDonna of Judgment Day defeated Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston of The New Day to claim the World Tag Team Championship.
Additionally, the future of the Women’s Tag Team Championship was also addressed on the show. Liv Morgan, who had dislocated her shoulder during Raw two weeks ago, needed to be replaced. Finbarol approached Nick Aldis and Adam Pierce backstage and proposed Roxanne Perez as Liv’s new partner with Raquel. Aldis and Pierce agreed, making Roxanne and Raquel the new legitimate champions, with plans for them to defend the Evolution title against teams from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.
WWE has officially updated their roster page, now recognizing Roxanne Perez as one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, confirming their status heading into future shows.
