AEW recorded a May 22 episode of AEW Collision from the Rio Rancho Events Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 21. The action-packed night provided some solid matchups, and here are spoiler results.
Before the show began, John Cruz came to the ring and cried out, “How are you doing?” Then he said, “I really don’t care!” He said Breaking Bad It was the worst TV show ever, and he just wanted to win and leave.
Manny Lemons defeated John Cruz. At one point, Cruz jumped off the top rope, but missed it. Lemons went to the fanny pack and pulled out the lemon. However, Cruz took it and broke it with his elbow. The Lemons then used a finishing move called a “lemon drop” to pin the cruise to win the match.
The show began with Tony Ciaborne, introducing TNT champion Adam Cole, who joined the ringside commentary team. Tony Schiavone introduced FTR and Daniel Garcia & Nigel McGuinness. FTR provided Daniel Garcia and Nigel McGuinness with the opportunity to step back. FTR said he saw Garcia like a son, and warned McGuinness that he didn’t have a comment desk to hide behind this time.
Garcia replied that he cared about FTR but still did so despite calling them selfish. He said he’s fighting for people who are tired of FTR’s actions, such as Tony Schiavone, Daddy Magic and Adam Copeland.
Garcia motivated McGuinness by telling him he still had it. McGuinness demanded that FTR agree not to put his or Schiavone’s hands again. If so, he said it would be “Top guys… for good.”
The Dachshunds then humiliated the crowd and defeated Nigel. He slapped Nigel in the face, urging Garcia and McGuinness to submit and lock both FTR members. Dachshunds and cash tapped out. McGuinness declared that everything would end with either Double or Nothing.
Toni Storm commented on Mina Shirakawa in a pre-recorded video.
Konosuke Takeshita, Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta defeated Bandido and Outrunner. The match included a synced triple suppress spot by a babyface. Rocky jumped off the top rope to assist Trent and Takeshita’s Jackal Driver in the movement. Lance Archer and Don Charis participated in commentary for the match.
Kyle Fletcher defeated Jay Resal. After the match, Josh Alexander and Takeshita attacked the lethality. Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong made saves. Adam Cole later said that the Don Charis family should teach lessons.

Komander and Mike Bailey defeated La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush & Dralistico). Bailey hit a spin kick with Dralistico, followed by Komander’s Cilieto Lindo. The commander also twists the Moonzoo into the floor and scrubs it.
After the match, Okada entered the ring and confronted Bailey. Bailey offered to shake hands. Okada responded by flipping through him. Bailey retaliated with kicks and diving. He grabbed the Continental Championship and walked the ramp to finish the show. This completes the taping.
