The 300th episode of "AEW Dynamite" saw a dip in total viewers but showed strength in key demographic ratings. According to Programming Insider, the show attracted an average of 584,000 viewers, falling just below the 600,000 mark and marking a 5% decrease from last week’s 613,000 viewers. This figure is also 10% lower than the six-week average of 650,000 viewers. Despite the decline in viewership, Wrestlenomics notes a slight increase in the 18-49 demographic rating, rising from 0.15 to 0.16—a 7% gain—but still shy of the 0.18 rating seen four weeks prior.

Historically, "Dynamite" typically draws between 500,000 and 650,000 viewers, with only one occasion breaking the 700,000 barrier on June 18th. This week’s episode ranks as the fifth lowest in viewership for 2025. On July 2, the highest-rated program was the Concacaf Gold Cup Semi-Final soccer match between the US and Guatemala, which drew 1.2 million viewers and a 0.40 rating, topping the night’s ratings.

The episode showcased the AEW TBS Championship bout featuring Holder Mercedes Moon against Shirakawa’s Mina. Additionally, fans saw a segment involving Adam Page and Jon Moxley ahead of the AEW World title match. The event also confirmed a pay-per-view clash between The Young Bucks and the team of Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay.

Fan Take: While the dip in overall viewers might raise eyebrows, the slight rise in the crucial 18-49 demographic shows that AEW is maintaining strong engagement with its core audience. This stability in key ratings suggests a promising future as AEW continues to deliver high-stakes matches and compelling storylines that keep fans invested in the sport.
