Although it hasn’t been the best year for Bullet Club Gold/The Bang Bang Gang, there is some positive news regarding one of its members. According to Dave Meltzer on the latest "Wrestling Observer Radio," Juice Robinson is expected to make a return soon after suffering a broken fiber injury that sidelined him from the Continental Classic last December.
Meltzer mentioned that while he wasn’t sure of the exact return date, Robinson should be back shortly. Robinson’s last match was a 2024 Continental Classic Gold League bout against Will Ospreay, which he lost. Additionally, Meltzer shared that Jay White, Robinson’s stablemate, is uncertain about the timeline for his own foot injury. White is well-regarded by AEW President Tony Khan, and Meltzer believes White is likely to return soon as well.
Following Robinson’s injury in the C2 match, Meltzer reported that Robinson sustained the broken fiber within just three minutes when he attempted to block Ospreay’s sunset flip. Although Robinson appeared unresponsive at the moment, the injury was evident in match images. He was working on regaining momentum after being sidelined for seven months due to back surgery.
Regarding Robinson and White’s fellow stablemates Austin and Colten Gunn, the team made a return on the February 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, where they lost to The Hurt Syndicate. In June, Austingan clarified on X (previously Twitter) that neither he nor Colten Gunn were injured.
Fan Take: This update is exciting for AEW fans as Juice Robinson’s return could inject fresh energy into Bullet Club Gold and elevate the faction’s presence. With key members like Robinson and Jay White potentially coming back soon, AEW’s tag team and faction dynamics could become even more thrilling and competitive.
