“No, this has been built since my last match. The reality, and I think a lot of people know that. I promised a retirement match, another match after the last match on my contract. I sat there for a while. And then I’m not going to pick up the phone and say, ‘Hey, give me a retired match.’ If that happened, it happened and I was kind of okay with not playing again,” Goldberg stated.

He said, “And behold, I’ll call – a few years later, I’m older than the 285-pound guy you saw that day and get beaten more. But as an athlete, as a competitor, I don’t care if I’m 70 or not.”
