Tonight’s WWE NXT, airing on July 8, 2025, promises an action-packed nightlife from Capitol Wrestling Center (WWE Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. The WWE NXT Great American Bash Go-Home show will be watching TNA’s Joe Hendry and Mike Santana take on Highlyse (Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont) in tag team matches. Additionally, WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Leisure) defend the title against the cul-style (Shawn Spears and Nicovance).

WWE NXT Results (7/8/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens with separate shots of Hank and Tank, Joe Hendry, Mike Santana, NXT general manager Ava and her assistant.
Vic Joseph, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, Corey Graves welcomed us to the show, and our Ricky Saints go to the ring for the first match of the night. The Vanity Project then heads to the ring.
Gauntlet Match: Ricky Saints vs. Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, WWE Evolve Champion Jackson Drake)
The match begins with the Ricky Saints and Brad Baylor. The Saint beats Baylor at the horn. The Saint then attacks Baylor with a missile dropkick and a backbreaker. Baylor then helps Page. Baylor then succeeds in assaulting the saint at the Saints for autumn autumn. Baylor then attacks the saint on a strike and attacks the underhook final cut for nearer autumn. The saint then dodges his knees. The saints then gather on their right hand and in their clothesline. The saint then hits Baylor’s background and chases it with his running elbow. The Saints then attack Baylor with a tornado DDT, and the victory moves to the next opponent in the match.
Smoking is next, and he raises the saint to his shoulder. The Saint escapes, but smoke causes him to crash into the mat and asks for a pin. The saint is then driven out, but Smokes submits and dresses him. The Saint then responds with a suppression with a jawbreaker and smoke, bringing him out of the ring and diving onto the floor on top rope. The saint then returns the smoke inside, but Jackson Drake causes the saints to crash into the barricade, and the judge checks the smoke in the ring and turns away.
Smoking then stuffs the horn saint with boots and delivers the elbows to the back of the neck. The Saint then first sends smoke crashing into Matt Spine, throwing him a belly from belly to belly, then first causing him to crash into Matt Spine, seeking pins. Smoke then kicks out and rolls the saint, but the saint kicks out. The Saints then hit an atomic drop into the smoke, pinying him for victory and moving on to their next opponent.
Jackson Drake is the last man in the match, and Drake delivers some boots to the middle of the Saints in the corner. Drake then follows it with a kick on the saint’s spine, seeking a pin, but the saint kicks it out. Drake then attacks the Saint a gutbuster and pins him, but the Saint kicks out and causes Drake to crash into the mat. Drake then nails the Saint with Enz-Egiri and appears to slap him with a Senton, but the Saint keeps out of the way and Drake crashes into Matt. Drake then nails the Saint with a kick and appears to hit a Swanton bomb from the top rope, but the Saint lifts his knees and slams him with a Loss Humbo for victory.

After the match, the Saints tell Page that they chose to face him in the Falls Count Ablit match of the North American Championship at the Great American Bash.
Then we see Sol Ruca and Zaria exaggerating each other for their match this weekend at the Great American Bash and Evolution. Rainey Reed shows up to talk about the trash. Kerani Jordan talks about Reid getting everything in people’s business for no reason. Reed then says she is the future of the department. Jordan then tells her to show him.
Vic Joseph then hypes Tabion Heights vs. Charlie Dempsey.
You can then see video footage of today’s Jordynne Grace exercising on her PC when Blake Monroe caled her. Grace then asks where Blake is, and Blake says he thinks Grace is in the gym in a black sports bra. Then Blake says they have attractive training with nails, massages and more. Grace says that if Blake stops talking she will come. Blake says that Grace is very interesting and will meet her soon. Grace then enters the SUV and arrives where she goes out and says, “Um… you have to joke with me.”
Tavion Heights and Charlie Dempsey went to the ring together for the next night’s match.
Singles Match (If Heights wins, he is free from NQCC): Tavion Heights vs. Charlie Dempsey
The match begins with both men locking up. Dempsey then crashes Heights out of the ring with an uppercut, but Heights returns his favor and causes Dempsey to crash him onto the floor. Both men then return to the inside of the ring, with the height causing Dempsey to crash into the mat. Heights then tackles Dempsey and delivers his right and left hands to him, but both men are glued to each other on the outside of the ring. Heights then gives Dempsey his right hand, and then returns him inside the ring to crash into the mat before hitting him with a suppression and asking for a pin.
Dempsey then kicks out, causing both himself and Heights to crash into the floor, but both men return to the ring, and Dempsey slams the knee in the middle of Heights. Heights then uses a top rope to cause Dempsey to crash into the mat, but both men roll out of the ring, and the frustrated Dempsey delivers some stomps to the height. He then tightens the company to a half-Boston crab at Heights and continues to beat Heights, but Sinclair throws a white towel on behalf of Heights to stop the match.

Next, we see Je’von Evans making Hank & Tank a spirit behind the scenes. Jaspert Roy then appears and throws Evans at the garage door and leaves him there.
Mike Santana and Joe Hendry advance into the ring for the next match of the night, followed by High Reise.
Tag Team Match: Joe Hendry and Mike Santana vs. The High Ryze (Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont) from TNA
The match begins with Joe Hendry and Tillik Igwe, with both men locking up. DuPont and Santana then tag Santana’s double team and raise it. Santana then defeats Igwe and Hendry hits a vacation slam with DuPont. Igwe then tag him, Santana wears him and tags Hendry. Hendry then nails Igwe and appears to hit him with a vertical suppression that is late, but Igwe blocks Hendry. Lee then deflects the referee, allowing Igwe and DuPont to double the team with Hendry. DuPont then returns the tag and pins Hendry, but Hendry kicks out and DuPont stomps him. He then gives him his right hand and first collides with the top turnbuckle’s face to tag Igwe. Igwe then places Hendry on his shoulder, but Hendry escapes and Igwe first causes him to crash into the top turnbuckle’s face.
Hendry then hits DDT with Igwe, but Dupont returns the tag and crashes Santana out of the apron. He then runs Hendry with a shoulder tackle, but Hendry pins DuPont. DuPont then kicks out, but Igwe tagged and hits Senton with Hendry. DuPont then tracks it down with a frog splash, and Igwe hits Hendry with Moonzoo. He then goes to Pin, but Hendry is kicked out.
DuPont then tightens the lock on Hendry’s front, but Hendry sends Igwe, who hangs down and crashes into the mat with a vertical suppression. Santana and DuPont then tag each other, and Santana nails DuPont with the clothesline. He then causes Igwe to first collide with Matt Face, and does the same to DuPont, but Trick Williams appears and sends Hendry, who first crashes into the shoulder of the outer ringstep. DuPont then appears to hit a splash of Santana on the corner, but Santana comes and hits his spin for victory.

After the match, Williams blinds Leg Lariat and Hendry. Hendry nails him, but Lee nails Hendry. Lee then beats Santana and DuPont, and Igwe holds Hendry in place for Williams to hit his trick shot.
The highlights are then shown when Inamura Yoshiki defeated Jaspert Roy to become the No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship. The great Muta then tells Inamura to get that belt. Marufuji Naomichi, Uruka Sasaki, WWE Women’s Champion Iyo Sky, and Kyoto kiaito kiyomiya have somehow said “Gambat” (you can do that).

DarkState then cuts promotions in a smoky room. Dion Lennox spoke about Matt Cardona lying down in impact last week. After that, Saquon Shugars says they’re doing more with TNA. Cutler James says he’s watching a title match for the tag later. Dion screams about how not to see the Dark State coming.
Inamura and Josh Briggs then proceed towards the ring, followed by WWE NXT champion Obafemi. Inamura starts by telling the feminist who wants to see what he’s made, then reminds him that he beat Jaspert Roy, making him the number one candidate. He then says that Femi will still be his biggest challenge, but he will fight honor and become the new NXT champion. Femi says that Inamura may be supported by her fans, family and friends. He says that they can pick up the pieces in front of their ears as they fight with honor, and asks Inamura if they can suffer losses with honor, and says Inamura will be shorter against him.
Briggs then grabs Inamura’s microphone and confronts Inamura. He then tells the femin that Hayano will defeat him, and says that although Inamura is an honorable person, it is not because he is a man of mayhem. Femi then tells Inamura to tell Briggs to get out of her face, but Briggs begins to brawl with Femi. The femi then washes the brig from the ring, but Inamura hits the body slam with the femi. The official then runs to the ring to distinguish between the two men.
After that, he returns to the salon and Grace says, “Yeah, no.” Grace says she needs to focus, so she gets Uber back. Blake then calls Grace the “muscle muffin” and says that he needs to do this because Grace is always working. Grace then says “Fine.” Next, we see Blake placing his blessings in his robe. She removes the sleeves. They then complete the nails and go for a massage, but Grace asks if the masseuse is still starting. Blake then tells Grace that two things can coexist. After that, Grace puts on makeup and doesn’t dislike it. Grace says this isn’t her bag and they talk about how they need to get the title from Yassie. Grace says she does this. They say they first defeated a deadly influence with the Bash, and Grace beats Yassie in the Evolution and thanks him for the break that day.
Kerani Jordan goes to the ring for the next night’s match, followed by Rainey Reid.
Single Match: Kerani Jordan vs. Rainey Reed
The match begins with Jordan stumbling over the lead. Both women then continue to move back and forth, but Jordan hits a sulflip on the lead and dropkicks her through the middle rope. Reid then slams the Jordan dragon screw on the ring apron, bounces back repeatedly to bounce his feet, then chases it with a spine buster to seek pins. Jordan then kicks out, but Reid tightens her with half a Boston crab.
The lead then closes his submission in Jordan, but Jordan crashes the lead into a bottom turnbuckle to break the hold. Jordan then causes Reid to crash into the mat with a firefighter carry, but Reid nails Jordan to Enz-Egiri and joins her with a top rope. Jordan then responds to the lead with Moonzoo for the victory.

After the match, Shia blinds Reed and brawls with her.
You will then see a medic checking Je’von Evans in the medical room. Jaspert Roy then appears and attacks Evans more. The officials then pull Troy away.
Next we see Tony D’Angelo stepping into the warehouse where the tables are set up. After that, Luca Crusifino will appear just like the stack. They mostly fight, but Rizzo is there. She then tells them all to sit down. She then said she hadn’t been hiding forever, she called it, and as she was in a safe house, she saw them focus on everything the family did. She then says Stack and Tony bring her with Luka and her, taking people to the bridge, dine in a restaurant, and they destroyed it all. Tony tells him to take it easily, and she points out how she tried to get Tony to talk about things. Afterwards, Luka asks if she thought she would solve this and she says yes, but she thinks it is impossible. She then points out the division between them and says that if trust is broken, doubts will creep up and everything will be lost. She says she then did what she had to do and talked to the AVA. She then says that this is WWE and it cannot be said that their past does not intersect again, but this is the final battle.
Stack says he doesn’t trust them and this is the setup. Tony says Ratt thinks this is the setup and Luka agrees. Tony says he thinks Luka is by Stax’s side. Stacks says he’s winning next week, and Tony says Stack and Luka should share the cup. Afterwards, Luka says he’s running away from them to do anything in NXT. Tony says it’s over. They all get up and Stack tells Tony not let him catch him alone. After that, Luke says, “Once I try to do something myself.”
The commentator then tries to check in, but Jaspert Roy is in the ring and requires Ava Book Jaspert Roy vs. Jevon Evans to be booked in the Great American Bash. Evon Evans then attacks the ring, but is crumpled when Troy attacks him with an injured rib. Security then tries to distinguish between both men. Evans then recovers a bunch of security with Troy and diving and hits. Security drags Evans back.
Then we see them culling in their dark room and Tatum comes in. Sean says she’s happy that she has her, and Iji says their home is hers. Nico says he’ll get the title tonight, defeat Hank & Tank once and do it again. He then addresses the assumption that attacked them, and Sean tells him to calm down. Sean says he will enjoy the benefits tonight. Izzi then says he will win the tag title and win the North American women’s title in GAB. Tatum says all her new friends have money.
The culling moves towards the ring for the next match of the night. Hank & Tank then proceeds towards the ring and quickly brawls with his spear and vans.
WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) (c) vs. The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance)
The match begins with all four men fighting each other. Walker then sends the spear to the corner, with Vance and the ledger hanging outwards. Walker then nails Vance and tags the ledger. Spears then tag him on his side, wears his ledger, then tag him with Vance. Vance then hits the head of the ledger in his right hand and tages the walker. Walker then splashes at Vance, nailing the Bulldog, and gets distracted by the outer dam and Paxley. This opens the Vance door and causes the walker to crash on the announcement desk with a bouncing off his shoulder.
Spears then tag him, but Vance deflects the referee when Walker rolls up Spears. The referee then begins the count late, and Spears is kicked out. Ledger then tags in and chases after Spears, but Spears nails Leisure with a few superkicks. Vance then tags and hits the ledger headbutt from the top rope and goes to the pin, but Walker breaks the fall.
Sol Luka then attacks Iji Dam from behind and brawls on her back with Zaria as she carries Paxley behind. Walker and Leisure then deliver their right hand to the Spear and Vance. Leisure then runs Vance with a shoulder tackle and appears to hit him with a double splash, but Spears pushes Vance out of the way and takes the manipulation. Walker and Ledger washed Double Team Dountlight Line Vance from Spears’ ring for victory.

The commentators then went through the Great American Bash Cards, with Jaspert Roy vs. Jevon Evans now officially on the show.
Next, we see NXT General Manager Ava walking behind the scenes.
Then we see Kale Dixon behind the scenes saying he’s nervous and has high blood pressure. He then tells Andre Chase that he’s gone crazy and can’t wrestletter today. Chase agrees and tells Kale and Uria that they understand something.
NXT general manager Ava heads towards the ring and grabs the microphone. Ava says he remembers starting by remembering that he was in high school when the first evolution happened and thinking about how wonderful it was to have such a monumental thing happen. She then ponders how far the women who attended the first premium live event came, and says she is proud that NXT is evolving as NXT’s first female general manager. Ava says that six women from NXT represent the brand of Evolution Battle Royal: Jaida Parker, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley. Ava says six women will prove that NXT always step up and display.
Music of fatal influence is a hit, and the trio escapes. Jacy Jayne then feels frustrated that Ava doesn’t choose to focus on the NXT women’s championship match with Jordynne Grace. Grace then makes a path to the ring, saying that evolution is a groundbreaking event. She then says that when she wins the NXT Women’s Championship from Jane, she will lead the NXT women’s division into the future.
The Rush Legend then goes her path, saying that Jane and Grace are at the top of evolution when they win Battle Royale and are able to continue fighting at the NXT women’s championship. Stephanie Verker then says it’s amazing to make her path and return to NXT before reflecting the legendary sentiment. Natalya, Maxin Dupri, Ivy Nile, Haida Parker, Zelina Vega, Candice Lerae and Julia, a big brawl breaks out between everyone, and the show ends.
