TNA President Carlos Silva recently shared an update regarding the company’s push to secure new media rights deals. Currently, TNA content is accessible on platforms like Axs TV and YouTube, but the organization is actively pursuing long-term partnerships with major media outlets.
In an interview with John Wall Street, Silva disclosed that TNA, working alongside their partner agency CAA, is aiming for media rights revenue around $10 million annually. He stated, “We consider $10 million per year a reasonable target. We are in discussions with all the leading linear networks as well as some emerging platforms seeking flagship content. At present, we believe TNA can fulfill that role.”
Silva also emphasized the significance of TNA’s ongoing collaboration with WWE, highlighting it as a crucial element that boosts the promotion’s visibility and brand strength.
Fan Take: This update is promising for TNA fans as securing a major media deal could significantly increase the promotion’s exposure and growth. It might also lead to more high-quality programming and opportunities for wrestlers, ultimately benefiting the overall wrestling industry.
