During his recent interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, TNA president Carlos Silva shared the latest developments regarding new media rights deals. He mentioned that, alongside Axs TV executives Len Asper and Andy Schuon, they are actively negotiating with a major platform, supported by CAA, and are heavily involved in the process. Silva indicated that an announcement could come within the next 60 to 90 days, acknowledging that the media landscape is rapidly changing, as evidenced by a recent change in network ownership. The new agreement is set to begin at the end of 2025.

Silva also addressed the possibility of TNA shifting to weekly live broadcasts, noting that many potential partners are interested in having 52 live episodes annually. While the transition might not happen immediately at full capacity, the organization aims to move in that direction. Interestingly, TNA has already aired several live episodes throughout 2025.

Regarding the show’s current Thursday time slot, Silva stated that the schedule is still undecided. He emphasized the importance of avoiding direct competition, possibly referring to AEW’s Collision, and acknowledged that the Thursday slot has been working well so far.

Fan Take: This update signals exciting growth for TNA Wrestling, as the move toward more frequent live broadcasts could significantly boost fan engagement and overall production quality. Securing a major media deal will not only elevate TNA’s presence in the sports entertainment world but also provide stability and fresh opportunities for the sport’s future.
