WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch is reportedly wrapping up filming for a new workplace comedy pilot titled "Movers," set to air on the FX network.
The update was shared by Chaisson, the costume designer for the pilot, via Instagram. He posted several behind-the-scenes photos featuring Lynch, himself, and other members of the cast and crew. Chaisson described the experience as a “complete circle moment,” noting his previous work with Lynch on the show Young Rock.
"Movers" is created by Robert Ben Garant, known for Reno 911!, and features Kathy Sim in a mockumentary-style format. The show centers on a group of movers and heavily incorporates improvisation. Alongside Lynch, the cast includes Maz Jobrani, Darius Homayon, and Manny Montana. This project adds to Lynch’s growing acting portfolio, with Happy Gilmore 2 also premiering on Netflix July 25th.
Despite her expanding acting career, Lynch continues to dominate WWE. At the recent WWE Evolution Premium Live event, she successfully defended her Women’s Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat match against Bailey and Lila Valkyria. She is also set to appear on tonight’s episode of Raw.
Fan Take: Becky Lynch’s foray into television with "Movers" signals her rising versatility beyond wrestling, which is exciting for WWE fans who appreciate their stars excelling in multiple entertainment realms. Her continued in-ring dominance combined with acting success could broaden WWE’s audience and elevate the sport’s mainstream appeal.
