Carlos Silva is tackling rumors that TKO wants to buy TNA wrestling

There have been rumors that TKO is about to win an entire TNA wrestling session, but TNA President Carlos Silva is currently denying these rumors.

While talking about getting over the podcast, Carlos Silva is working on rumors that WWE or TKO might be interested in purchasing TNA or buying Anthem Sports. He made it clear that such conversations were not taking place either internally or with the WWE.

Silva explained that his focus is on creating and building successful properties that fans really enjoy. He believes that providing excellent products and handling the business side professionally will naturally lead to opportunities over time.

“No. No. I mean for us, it’s—I’ve been, you know, I’ve been doing this a long time around creating properties, building properties, creating the kind of, um, groundswell of, um, the fans really loving what we’re doing. I think that’s the most important thing at the end of the day. If you have a great product and you deliver on the product, and you’re being professional around how you build that product as a business, I think opportunities will come up. Uh, and it’s my, you know, it’s my job to create opportunities for our investors.”

Silva also said the current partnership with WWE and NXT is on track and continues to grow. Something may come up in the future, but for now, priorities include events like Slammiversary and Bound for Glory, improving television content, and working with partners.

If all of that goes well, Silva believes that the business will handle itself, and that future opportunities will be explored when time is right.

“Let’s take a look. The partnership between WWE and NXT is going well and we’ll keep it up well. And it can manifest as a future opportunity. But we’re just making sure what things like Slami Barster and Glory do on TV, how to create content, how to work with partners, how to fill new sponsors, and how to fill arenas.

If you do all this well, the business will organize itself and then have the opportunity to explore internally as well as our partners. ”

For now, Carlos Silva and the TNA leadership team are focused on nurturing the company over the long term. With big events along the way, TNA has been running a powerful show and giving the energy to involving fans, instead of paying attention to rumors of the acquisition. Anyway, you need to see if WWE will one day buy TNA.
