AEW Dynamite Results (7/16/2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens with Tony Ciaborne standing in the ring, and he welcomes viewers to Dynamite before introducing “Hangman” Adam Page as the new AEW world champion. Excalibur and Taz welcome us to the show as the page moves towards the ring and he shows off the AEW World Championship.
The page then enters the ring. There, Schiavone waves and passes the microphone before making an exit. “You deserve it” chant breaks out. The truth begins with saying that some of those chan chans may have missed the point, as fans deserve it. This gets a “We deserve it” chant before the page continues. The page says that everyone who watches each week has requested a better, more fully realized pro wrestling. Page says they support grassroots movements in professional wrestling and are the reason for all elite wrestling.
The chant “AE-Dub” breaks in front of the page. He says that people who work hard at this company want the fans to know not just for this title, but for all the fans, not just for scratching. Then you get the “Thank you Hangman” chant. Page says it deserves that there are people who see this championship and carry it, and who understand the connection and have more gratitude than they appreciate the fans than they appreciate. Page talks about entering the war, the 100 battles that took place before him, and how some of them who defeated it later did not return. It then takes Page to thank these guys, including Orange Cassidy, Jay White, Adam Copeland, Zappus, Brian Danielson, Derby Allyn.
Page says he needs to be grateful for the great things about wrestling, the person who reminded him of those who couldn’t leave on his own will. Page thanks Will Osprey. Page thanked Swerve Strickland for helping him despite his unique history, saying that the weekend was all full of highs, lows, blood and tears. Page says that people like Moxley would make him weak and lesser when he cries, but he has the love and respect of his wife, children and fans. Page says he has thousands of people who see people who can look at him and respect him. Page says if you want to know what kind of person he is, you can see him because he is the world champion. Page gives the AEW World Championship a big applause from the crowd before leaving the ring.
Next, you’ll get a video package that looks back at everything in Texas.
Comments then boasts hype before heading out to video footage of the young Bucks who arrived at the venue on Uber after losing their EVP title and custom limousine last week. They then grab their luggage before heading to the building.
Kyle Fletcher then heads into the ring for the first match of the night to reflect on Saturday’s All In: Texas and Dustin Rhodes’ winning the TNT Championship. Mascara Dorada heads towards the ring.
Single Match: Masks and donations: “Protaster” by Don Caris family Kyle Fletcher
The match begins with Fletcher providing Dorada with some stomps. He then gives him his right hand and pulls the mask, but Dorada uses two top ropes to hit a drag on Fletcher’s arm. He then pursues it with a missile dropkick from the top rope, then Fletcher begins to fly over the central rope. Dorada then moves out of the way and hits Tornilho on the top rope to nail the Fletcher on the outside. Both men then return to the ring and hit a sidewalk slam where Fletcher swings in Dorada.
Dorada then hits Fletcher’s thrust kick and a shooting star press outside the rope. He then follows it with a series of kicks, nailing Fletcher with Ens’s Earl and following it with Code Red. Dorada then hits Hurricane Rana with Fletcher from the ropes and follows it with a 450 splash to go to the pin. Dorada is then kicked out. Dorada then bumps into Tigelus with Fletcher, appearing to first hit the horn’s face and fly off the rope, but Fletcher catches Dorada and first hits the face of the turnbuckle in the center. He then follows it with a brainbuster for victory.
Kyle Fletcher, the winner of the singles match, Don Charis family’s “Protostal”!
After the match, Fletcher kneels and drools as he talks about how Dustin Rhodes ruined the biggest moments of his life. Fletcher says his life mission is to take everything from Rhodes. Ciaborne says new TNT champion Dustin Rhodes will appear in Saturday’s clash.
Then, early today, we get video footage of the young Bucks who arrive behind the scenes and are greeted by Renee Puckett. Then they blow her away. The Bucks cross the path with Marina Shafir. Matthew then asks how she is doing. Shafir shook her head and walked past them. The Bucks then arrive at the dressing room. The crew had removed the “EVP” title in the locker room door sign. He writes “Matt” and “Nick” instead. Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona appear. Ricochet says it’s going to suck it’s going to become a Bucks and laughs him before he leaves. Don Karis then appears and says he thinks it’s hatred that the company has lost one match and treats them like several job seekers. Charis says he knew there were problems in the past, but now that Kenny Omega has died, they might be able to do business. Matthew then tells him he will never join his family, but he thinks they’ll get things done. Charis and Bucks hug.
You will then see a promotion from The Hurt Syndicate. In Texas, MVPs beg to step up one of these legendary tag teams and shoot tag titles from the syndicate. Meanwhile, MJF congratulates “Hangman” Adam Page on winning the world title. He then says that it was easy to beat the dictator John, but there is something to prove on the page. He then says he is the best before he says he doesn’t even need his title contract to get what belongs to him. MJF says that in case of emergency transactions, contracts are mere breakgrass. He then wraps it around and says that nice guy is the end before the MVP inserts, and says that they’re not good at all.
Josh Alexander and Hexero head into the ring for the next match of the night, followed by the young Bucks. Jetspeed, Bandido and Brody King then proceed towards the ring.
All-Star 8 Man Tag Team Match: ROH World Champion Bandido, Jetspeed (“Jet” Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey), and Hell’s Brody King’s Hound vs. Doncalis Family (“Walking Weapons” Joshu Alexander and Hexero) and Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson)
The match begins with King and Alexander, and both men trade crimes before they realize that Alexander is unable to let go of his feet. The two men simply let their mouths go from each other before Alexander sends the king back on a strike, and the king drops him on his lap with a massive chop. Alexander then looks for the tag, but Bucks gets off the apron and tag Hechesero. Bandido also gets the tag, and both men trade offensives. The bandid then charges with hechesero on the corner before taking him to the mat along with Hurricane Lana. A tag is then created for Knight, who calls out to Bailey for an assist to defeat Hexero before Matt and Nick try to intervene. This causes Jet Speed to chase the Bucks and drop them onto the outside floor.
The Knight then returns to attack until the Bucks run again. Chaos then continues with a super kick of King and Knight, then sends Bailey onto the ropes, stomping on the power bomb and hitting Escalella to send the action out. Hechesero and Knight go to it, and Knight backs up and sends Hechesero to the ropes, but falls violently into the air before Hechesero continues to polish him. Knight then looks for the tag, but Alexander takes the tag in and pulls away, dropping Knight onto the canvas before the Bucks tag Matthew and joins the action. After that, we look for the EVP trigger, but realize that we can’t call it anymore, and lead us to arguing. This opens the door to attack by a speedball that has obtained a tag from the knight.
Nicholas then tries to intervene, but is dropped violently and the Bucks seek out more bangs for your money. Bailey then hits the backflip stomp. Alexander and Hexelo are hit by a gust of attack from the king, sending Alexander outside before hitting Cannonball with a hechselo on the horn. King hits the ropes when Bandido gets a blind tag before he drops into Alexander and an outside company. He and Bandido then follow the lawsuit before returning Alexander to the ring. Jetspeed then moved with a combination of Bandido setups and won the fall near Hechicero.
Things then break once again when the Bucks and Alexander take the king. The Bucks knock him down, but are taken to the Knight before Bandido hits a 21-plex following Nicholas’ X-Nee. This is countered by the triple team. They then gang rape bandid and hechesero’s rock in their sleeper. After that, Bandido faints, and the judge calls Bell.

After the match, the heels celebrate the victory.
Adam Copeland’s music is a hit and he moves towards the ring as fans sing his theme song. We then reflect on the attack on the Christian Cage in Texas, leading to a message for the return of Coop and Christians to find themselves. Cope enters the ring as fans continue to sing his song.
Copeland begins by thanking fans in response to the chant “Thank you.” They say these reactions are the reasons why he stands up and enters this ring. Copeland says he wants to address a few questions. First they descended to save the Christian Cage. Copeland says no because the cage is a hole and tries to make him miserable. Copeland then reminds the fans that Cage wanted to cripple him. Copeland also reminds fans that Cage cashed and suffocated in his world title deal.
Copeland then says that everything collapses around the cage and it’s all coming out of the jealous. Copeland says he couldn’t see Cage succeed in the first place to achieve success, including the World Championships. Copeland then tells Cage that verbatim will happen to him, but now he just wants Cage to see and pull out his skull from his ass. Copeland then says he returned to Texas to chase the FTR. Copeland then says he was allowed to return to the ring again five years ago, and the first two men he called about it was FTR, helping him get back to form. Copeland then says he followed the title of Trios, rated FTR, and talked about going two weeks after they finally started complaining. Copeland then says he spoke about FTR being suppressed from the aspirations of the tag’s title, which makes no sense to him. Copeland says he kept him on the shelf for four months. Copeland then says he returned after that time. That’s to end the FTR.
FTR music is a hit, with Stokely Hathaway appearing along with four security guards to protect themselves. Hathaway says Harwood and Wheeler have accurately predicted what Copeland will do tonight, and Tony Khan and Warner Media have received three anonymous emails about Copeland’s actions. He then says that if Copeland comes near the FTR, interferes with the match or tries to share his hand, he will be fired. Copeland then responds by telling Hathaway that he didn’t say anything about getting closer to him. Hathaway then tells one of the guards to chase after Copeland, but Copeland quickly nails him and takes out the other guards. Two other security guards outside the ring then run backwards and Coop hits a spear with Hathaway. Copeland’s music attacks with a mouth with Hathaway before posing for the horn crowd.

AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Tony Storm’s music hits and she moves towards the ring. Storm starts by introducing herself as many things before reminding fans that she is still a champion. Instead of following the plans they set themselves, Nick Wayne runs down the cage to follow his own path.
