Isla Dawn has heard of gossip – and she’s here to shut it down. In a new interview, the former WWE star tackled enduring online rumors claiming she was romantically involved with fellow wrestler James Drake. According to Isla, fans are completely misconstruing friendship.
While I’m talking Everyday StarIsla was asked about the common misconceptions that followed her throughout her wrestling career. She admits she’s mostly avoiding the rumored factory, but there’s one false story that keeps pop-up.
“I don’t think I get a lot of rumors. I don’t think so… I don’t think there’s one rumor that I’m going to date James Drake. It’s what we want to make clear that we never have. The internet is thinking about it, and I think “No. It’s probably the only thing I see from time to time, and I’m like “no.” ”
She said it with a laugh, dispelling the speculation and reaffirming their friendship. For the record, James Drake, who wrestled as Jagger Reid in WWE, is not a romantic partner, but a longtime best friend. As the conversation was wrapped, Isla joked about her modesty regarding the drama.
“I don’t think it’s funny enough for the entire rumored scandal.”
With her next chapter already moving after WWE, Isla returns to the ring and focuses on regaining her passion.
