Moose is currently taking a break from the wrestling scene after suffering a decisive defeat at the recent TNA Slammiversary event. Following his loss of the TNA X-Division Championship to Leon Slater, Moose took to social media to announce that he was on a vacation.
He expressed, “I’ve achieved nearly everything possible here in TNA wrestling. Leon Slater, I have the utmost respect for you, and the X-Division is now in your hands… Show me what you’ve got.”
As one of the longest-standing stars in TNA wrestling, Moose has been involved in some of the promotion’s most significant moments. Known as The Powerhouse, he is a former TNA world champion and faced off against NXT champion Oba Femi earlier this year.
Although Moose promises a return, he hasn’t set a date for his comeback. Meanwhile, the youngest-ever TNA X-Division champion, Leon Slater, will take the lead in the division.
Fan Take: Moose’s absence leaves a temporary void in TNA’s top-tier competition, but it also creates an exciting opportunity for fresh talent like Leon Slater to shine and bring new energy to the division. This shift could spark renewed interest and fresh storylines, ultimately benefiting the sport and its fans.
