All Elite Wrestling continued its run at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois. During the event, “Timeless” Tony Storm delivered a standout performance against Billy Stark. FTR advanced in the AEW Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament by defeating Jets Speed, and Mark Brisco secured a win with his Death Rider move. Meanwhile, Hangman Page earned an official rematch for the AEW World Championship against John Moxley, set for next week.

Regarding the TV ratings on TBS, the July 23 episode of “Dynamite” averaged 608,000 viewers, reflecting a 3% increase from the previous week’s 588,000 viewers, as reported by Wrestlenomics and Programming Insiders. This number is also slightly above the four-week average of 606,000 viewers, though it doesn’t account for viewers streaming live on HBO Max. The show began with 669,000 viewers but dipped to 578,000 by the end of the second quarter before fluctuating to a total of 609,000 viewers throughout the broadcast.

In the key 18-49 demographic, the episode posted a rating of 0.14, marking a 7% decline from last week’s 0.15 and 12% below the four-week average of 0.16. This rating is the lowest since the April 23 episode. Despite this, “Dynamite” ranked 8th in Prime Time Cable for the evening, outperforming major league baseball games for the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox, Fox News programming, the Season Premiere of South Park, Family Guy, and reruns of Sports Center.

Fan Take: This steady rise in total viewership, despite the dip in the key demographic, shows that AEW continues to build a broad and engaged audience. For fans, it signals the company’s growing mainstream appeal and the potential for AEW to become a major player in the sports entertainment landscape.
