AEW Collision Results (7/26/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show welcomes us with Tony Shearborne and Nigel McGuinness as Dustin Rhodes music hits, and he welcomes us towards the ring for the first match of the night. Lee Moriarty’s music is a hit and he goes to the ring with Shane Taylor.

AEW TNT Championship Match: Texas son “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes (C) vs. Shane Taylor Promotion ROH Pure Champion “Taiga Style” Lemoriati

The match begins with Dustin reaching out, but Lee refuses. Both men lock up as Dustin reverses the hold to a hammerlock. Lee then escapes the hold. When Lee locks Dustin’s arm, both men are locked up again, but Dustin reserves it in the wrist lock, unloads Lee and ties Dustin. Dustin ran down the rope and defeated Lee, and both men stab each other. Dustin tells Lee to bring it. Lee then accusssssssssssssssssssssssss both men to the floor. Lee is down and Dustin is hyping himself. Lee then kicks Dustin in the middle. Lee is in the apron, hits the arm whip and falls onto the apron. Dustin then pushes Lee against the barricade and sends him back to the ring. Dustin then works with Lee’s left arm. Dustin then knocks Lee down with an arm drag. Dustin then continues working on Lee’s arm, but Lee then fights. Lee then nails Dustin with his elbow and lowers him with a dragon screw. Lee covers Dustin, but Dustin kicks out with one and rolls to the floor.

Dustin then walks around the outside and returns to the ring. Lee then gets on display a bit and laughs at the fans booing him. Lee then works with Dustin’s fingers. He gets out of the hold as Lee unloads Dustin with another dragon screw and works with Dustin’s right hand. Lee then drops Dustin down with another dragon screw. Moriarty then sets up Rhodes and slaps him with the clothesline. He then goes to the cover, but Rhodes kicks out for two. Moriarty then goes back to Rhodes’s left knee and drives him to the mat, but Rhodes touches his leg and chops and kicks. Lee then hits his own kick and knocks Dustin down, but Dustin kicks Lee out. Moriarty then returns and leaves Rhodes’s left below him, and does it again when Rhodes returns to his feet. Dustin then slams his right hand into the corner, but Moriarty blocks the next hand and drives Rhodes’ head into the turnbuckle. Rhodes can then hit the Pouz Ram.

Both men go back to their feet and trade punches, and Lee hits kicks and uppercuts. Dustin then dropped his punches and knees, causing him to injure his own. Moriarty then searches Rhodes for a bow and arrow submission, but he is unable to get it and returns to his right leg. Rhodes rises and punches, then Lee leaves the ropes, but Rhodes slams the Canadian destroyer out of nowhere. Rhodes then bumps into Crossroads and goes to the cover, but Moriarty steps into the rope below.

Rhodes then hits some kind of move, hurting himself again, but Moriarty also counts two. Rhodes then tries to get Lee up for a vertical suppression, but his knees come out. Moriarty then hits a big kick in the head, but only gets two. Moriarty then locks the ankle lock. Dustin almost taps, but continues fighting and reaches the bottom rope. Dustin returns to his foot and Moriarty goes for a running kick, but Dustin moves and Lee goes into the corner. Rhodes then sets up for a crushed dream, but the judge prevents him from hitting it. Lee comes out of the corner with a flying kick, but gets only one. Moriarty then hits the forearm, but Rhodes rocks them. After that, Moriarty hits some kind of driver, but only gets two. Moriarty heads to Figure 4, but Dustin rolls him up for the victory.

Winner, still AEW TNT champion, Texas son “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes!

After the match, Don Charis will appear along with Kyle Fletcher. Charis says Fletcher has something to say. Fletcher says he didn’t come out to fight Dustin. He then looks at the two and says there’s no need to take cheap shots. Fletcher then says he outperforms Rhodes in every way. The crowd chants, “Close f *** up.” Fletcher then says that the only thing he needs is what he owe. This is a one-on-one shot at the TNT Championship. He then says he’s refusing to sit down and see Dustin give the shot to others. He says Dustin should be the combat champion as he wants his shot next week. Rhodes says he wants a shot after all the crap he talked about his family last week. Rhodes then asks if the crowd should give a shot. Rhodes then says he gives Fletcher a shot in the collision next Thursday, and gives Rhodes vs. Fletcher a shot in the battle on Streets in Chicago. Rhodes then says one more “I’m your Huckleberry b****” and the match becomes official.

You will then see a video package featuring promotions by Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn, promoting upcoming tournament matches between Bang Bang Gang, Big Bill and Bryan Keith. Austin usually says he’ll see Corten here, but when one brother gets off, another brother is on his feet, so Robinson is here. He then says they have two words for you.

Tony Ciaborne then took a little time to remember the late Great Hulk Hogan, saying that he made wrestling mainstream in the 1980s and ignited Monday’s night war with this very network in the 1990s. After that, Ciaborne says that if they never lose their family, they can’t know what the Hogans are going through, and the minds of all elite wrestling will leave them. Schiavone then ends by saying “Rip, Brother.”

After that, we head backwards. There, Lexi Nia interviews AEW women’s world champion, “timeless” Tony Storm. According to Storm, this is the first time a woman she didn’t like last week has a woman in a box. Storm says Athena will face Alex Windsor. Storm says she had a non-sexual friendship with Windsor. She then encourages Athena to sign a contract to head over to her, but she adds that she doesn’t think she has an ovary.

Big Bill and Brian Keith then proceed to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by a bang bang gang.

AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament Quarterfinal Match: Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Austingan) vs. “The Redwood” Big Bill and “The Bad Apple” Brian Keith

The match begins with juice and juice, and juice the chin little by little. Keith grabs the juice and both men are trapped and reverses the hold. Juice then defeats Keith and tries to pin’s attempt. Bill then grabs her foot again and slams her onto the mat. Bill applies a knee bar to Austin as the judge checks him.

Keith is in the ring. He then accussssssssssssssssssssssssssssings to the way. Austin then crawls to make a tag, but Keith cuts him off. Austin hits Keith with a lariat as both men are down. Keith is outside as Bill rolls him and tags himself. Bill runs juice from the apron and knocks, mimicking Austin. Bill then chops Austin and parades around the ring. Bill is then charged in Austin, but he moves. Keith is tagged. Austin sends the building to the floor. Austin then lifts Keith up and sends him to the building on the floor. Austin then crawls to get the tag.

Juice then defeats Keith and tries to knock Bill down. As the big man goes over the rope, he is caught on the rope. Juice then sends the building to the floor, cleans up Russian legs, unloads Keith, and chases him with a sendon. Juice then beats Keith and hits the running cannonball. Juice then only covers Keith for two counts. Bill bumps into the big boots as the juice falls onto the mat. This allows Keith to play juice with the snap suppression. The building can be tagged. Keith hits a big knee on his chin. Keith covers the juice, but Austin splits Pin’s attempt. Austin then goes to the floor. Juice then sends the bill to the floor when Austin sends the bill to the safety rail. Juice rolls up Keith and covers him for victory.

Then you get a video package that hypes the young bucks of dynamite and young bucks.

Then head backwards as Lexy Nair interviews Shane Taylor. She asks him about Lee Moriarty’s defeat to Dustin Rhodes, but before he says anything, he is interrupted by Don Karis. Charis says the younger Bucks will beat out the Outrunner this Wednesday, but the Outrunners may not reach that match as they team up tonight. Charis says his family and the Taylor guys will beat everyone else and split the money. Charis then spoke about the $400,000 prize for an eight-man tag team match, saying that the breakdown would be $300,000 for him and $100,000 for the unfortunate Taylor.

Max Caster is currently in the ring and he does his best wrestler Alive Schtick. Caster says everything about the city can be scary. The caster says he’s rooting for what fans want to do in the US murder capital. The caster then tries to get the fans to chant. The caster says this is the Platinum Max Open Challenge and asks Clock for a five-man mini-et. The caster says Anthony Bowens’ music will be a hit, who will survive. Bowens then comes out with Billy Gunn. Bowens walks into the ring with purpose as Gunn is right behind him.

Max Caster’s 5 Minute Bestra Alive Open Challenge: “The Best Wrestler Alive” Maxcaster vs. “The Pride of Pro Wrestling” “The Five Tool Player” Anthony Bowens

The match begins with Bowens nailing the caster. Bowens then chops up the casters and sends him. After that, the fans began singing. Bowens then carves the casters and sends them to the mat. Fans at the time booed the Bowens a bit. Bowens nails the casters with a big elbow shot at the back of his head. Bowens then breaks the US patent frame as fans booed. Bowen then jouses on the caster and kicks him in the middle. Bowens then attacks fame with the caster and superkicks him. Bowens then hit the caster with Molly Hop for the victory.

After the match, Bowens attacks the caster. Billy Gunn then pulls him away and checks the caster. It appears that Bowens is about to nail Billy from behind, but instead leaves the ring.

After that, we head backwards. There, Lexi Nia interviews Mother Wayne, Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian. Lexie then asks Mother Wayne if she should be called patriarchy. Mother Wayne will never say it again. AR Fox then appears and challenges Wayne to a match with his tag partner.

Don Karis’ music is a hit when he and Lance Archer appear. Afterwards, Karis introduces Hexero, the infantry and the Don Charis family, and heads to the ring for the next match in the evening.

The outrunner then proceeds towards the ring, followed by a hologram and a tomohiroiri.

400,000 $8 Man Tag Team Match: Outrunner (TurboFloyd and Truth Magnum) and Conglomeration (The Stone Pitbull) and Tomohiroshii and Hologram) vs. Don Callis family (Hechicero and The Murderhawk Monster) and Shane Taylor Promotions ‘The Infantry (The Captaan) Shawn Dean and Carly Bravo)

The match begins with Ishii defeating Bravo. It will then be tagged into the hologram. The hologram is stuck in the corner, but it goes outside. After that, Hechicero only rolls Hologram for two counts. The hologram then sends the hexero to the mat. It will then be tagged with the turbo. He grabs Hechesero’s arm and tags the truth. The Outrunner then sends the infantry to the floor. Archer then comes to him as the chin of truth and nails him with his right hand. The babyface then clears the ring. Archer then returns when he defeats the Outrunner with a large cross. Archer then picks up the hologram and sends him to the outrunner.

The truth diminishes as Bravo holds him. Truth is you can create tags on holograms. Archer joins and picks up a tagged ishii. Then pick up Archer and take him. It will then be tagged into the hologram. He is on top and has a double stomp on the hexero. The infantry then comes and doubles the hologram. The turbo is then tagged when defeating the infantry. The Outrunner then doubles the infantry. Ishii is in and he nails Hechicero with his right hand. The hologram comes in and sends the hexero to the floor. The hologram then flies and lands on the hechsero on the floor. In the ring, the outrunner attacks the bravo with a double elbow. Archer then grabs the outrunner. The judge then goes down. Taylor then removes the hologram and Ishii from the floor. Paragon then descends and chases after Taylor as he runs through the crowd. The Outrunner then doubles the team’s bravo and truth and covers him for victory.

You will then get a video package that hypes the world title match with Hangman Page, defending former champion John Moxley.

The crazy triangle (Julia Hart, Sky Blue, “Poisonous Spider” thekla) moves towards the ring for the next match of the night, with the luck of Rachel Ellaling, Mazzelaty and Rainey already in the ring.

Trio Match: Crazy Triangle (Julia Hart, Sky Blue, “Toxic Spider” Tekra) vs. Rachel Ellaling, Mazzelati, Rainey Lac

The match begins with Hart having a lucky arm. Thekla is then tagged. she. He then kicks Luck in the face to cover her, but pulls her up before the 3 count. It will then be tagged blue. It will be tagged with a heart. It will be tagged with an error. She then defeats Hart and slaps her with a Senton. Ellaing then picks up the heart, supplays her, covering her with just two counts. Outside, kla was lucky. It will then be tagged with Mazzerati. It will be tagged blue. Heart and Blue, then double team Mazzerati. He is then tagged by TheKla and stomps on Mazzerati for victory.

After the match, Queen Aminata’s music hits as she runs into the ring in her chair. From behind, Megan Bane attacks Aminata. Bane then picks up Aminata and drops her with a running power bomb.

After that, we head backwards. There, Lexi Nia interviews Stokeley Hathaway, who has a bodyguard. He talks about why Adam Copeland chases him. He then talks about the FTR standing high above the dynamite. Lexie asks Stokeley if she was injured while not using the crutches.

Afterwards, she sees Tomohiro ishii, Hologram and Lexy Nair, and she asks them about their victory. Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong appear and O’Reilly says that the hologram wants to spend the money on Roderick Strong’s birthday. Strong then becomes upset.

Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian then proceeded towards the ring for the next match of the night, with AR Fox and Angelico already in the ring.

Tag Team Match: ROH World TV Champion Nick Wayne and Kip Savian vs. AR Fox and Angelico

The match begins with Nick Wayne kicking the AR Fox. he. Then stomp on Sabian’s Fox and Tag, with his big forearm on Fox. Wayne is then tagged. He then grabs Fox. Angelico will then be tagged. He nails Wayne with a left jab. Angelico then holds Wayne on the armbar. Angelico then reverses the hold and locks Wayne’s arms. Angelico then breaks the hold and dodges Sabian. Wayne then tagged with Sabian.

Sabian then accused Angelico. Angelico then slapped Sabian with a big slap. Angelico is about to reach Fox and creates a tag. Sabian makes it, but Fox defeats Wayne with a series of movements, such as a corner clothesline, peeling the cat’s skin, dropkick, cutter, another cutter, diving, and senton, but only gets two as Wayne kicks out.

Wayne nails Fox’s throat, Angelico tagging him to hit the up kick, but Wayne rebuts against the background and Sabian makes a blind tag. He then attacks Dropkick with Angelico. Sabian then hits Angelico’s big cannonball against the corner, and Wayne attacks a big dive on the outside Fox. Sabian then slams the clothesline with Angelico, but Wayne asks for a tag. He then heads behind Lenny Puckett interviewing Chris Starlander. Kris Statlander tells Paquette that there will be an announcement. Statlander. Then tell the packet that he has just won $100,000. Statlander then blows confetti on Paquette’s face. Statlander lists what Willow Nightingale feels should be grateful to her. Statlander thanked Willow for reminding her that she doesn’t need her to be her. Statlander then says she is strong, tough and athletic. Statlander says, “I’m grateful to be me because I can’t stop statistics.”

Alex Windsor then goes to the ring for the night’s main event, with Athena following with Billy Stark.

ROH Women’s World Championship Match: “The Fallen Goddess” Athena (c) vs. Alex Windsor

The match begins with both women following the norms of honor. Both women are then locked up. Windsor then sends Athena to the corner. Athena then pushes Windsor. Windsor puts her down. Windsor then locks Athena with a head scissor, but Athena breaks out of the hold. Windsor then drops Athena down and Athena wakes up and drops a kick. Athena then defeats Windsor with a handful of hair. Windsor then drops Athena and kicks her back. Windsor then covers Athena with only two counts.

Both women are in the apron and exchange chops. Athena then kicks Windsor, but she returns with a big kick. Athena then picks up Windsor and slams the apron when Windsor hits the floor. Then both women exchange counters again, and Windsor hits a big headbutt sending both women to the mat. Both women then slowly step into the opposite corner. Athena then runs in Windsor, but she avoids and sends Athena across the ring, clotheslined to the corner. Windsor then pounds the clothesline jumping off the rope and kips up. Windsor then picks up Athena and bumps into her with a Russian leg sweep, but only gets two. Windsor then goes to Powerbomb, but Athena then fights. Athena then dodges the kick, and Athena hits a super kick, and ends with Athena hitting a cozy clutch in Windsor. Windsor then turns it into a pinfall, but only gets two. Athena then hits the driver in the background, but only gets two. Athena then goes to the top rope and searches for O-Face, but Windsor meets her there. Athena then pushes her down, but Windsor runs backwards and hits the rising headbutt, then chases the Powerbomb just two out of the corner.

After that, Athena goes to submission and drives away Windsor. Athena then goes to a dropkick in the basement, but Windsor picks up her and drops her face first with an apron. Windsor then hits a wheelbarrow slam with Athena, first hits the apron and then the outside. Windsor then returns Athena to the ring, and Stark grabs Windsor’s foot behind the referee’s back. Windsor then sends Billy to the ring step, but Athena dives outside at Windsor, sends her to the ring post, and hits an outside shotgun dropkick into the barricade. Athena then barricades Windsor, with both women standing there. They then exchange punches and Windsor gets the advantage and Athena falls, but Athena maintains her foot, grabs Windsor and drops it to the floor with a power bomb. Athena then returns Windsor to the ring, goes to the top rope and hits an O-face for victory.

After the match, commentary announces Athena’s 30th defense, over 26 different challengers. Starkz and Athena then launch a Windsor attack, but Toni Storm comes out and makes a save. Storm drops Stark and rolls Athena into the ring, punching him with his Lou Shoe Press. She then becomes wild for the crowd, then attacks Athena with a hip attack with her horns. She then places Athena in the wings of a TCM chicken, but Stark hits the storm with a vicious shot. Athena then goes to O-face at Storm, but Windsor backs up, and she and Storm fight together, bringing their heels out of the ring, celebrating the Chicago crowd as the show approaches.
