Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was involved in a car accident on Thursday, July 24th, in Westport, Connecticut, around 9 a.m. TMZ Sports reports that McMahon was driving north on Merritt Parkway, one of the oldest parkways in the U.S. and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. According to a crash report from TMZ, McMahon caused the accident when his 2024 Bentley Continental GT rear-ended a BMW 430 and then hit a wooden central guardrail. The impact was strong enough to deploy airbags in both vehicles. A third car, a Ford Fusion, was also caught up in the crash after hitting debris. All three cars had to be towed, with McMahon’s Bentley described as severely damaged. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and all drivers were wearing seat belts. McMahon was cited for misdemeanor reckless driving and a pursuit-related accident, released on a $500 bond, and is scheduled to appear in Stanford Superior Court on August 26th.
