Becky Lynch Celebrated with Hall of Fame Induction on Raw Following Summerslam Triumph

Becky Lynch has found a new opponent.

At SummerSlam last weekend, the Intercontinental (IC) Women’s Champion defended her title against Laila Valkyria in a no-disqualification match. Lynch retained her championship after Bailey inadvertently struck Laila while attempting to assist the young contender.

The champion, who also introduced a new entrance theme at SummerSlam, celebrated her win during Monday Night Raw from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. However, her celebration was interrupted by the return of Nikki Bella, a WWE Hall of Famer, who questioned Lynch’s reasons for coming back to the WWE.

The interaction quickly turned personal, with Nikki Bella referencing her role in the breakup with John Cena, prompting Lynch to call Bella a liar and igniting a chant famously associated with Bella’s brother-in-law, Bryan Danielson. Nikki proposed a one-on-one IC title match with Lynch, but the champion instead delivered a surprising strike before exiting.

Later in the show, Becky Lynch was seen backstage interacting with Natalia, Maxine Dupri, and Tokugawa Akira. After Natalia challenged her to a match, Lynch accepted but chose to face Dupri in next week’s live event.

Fan Take: This storyline adds fresh intrigue and personal drama to WWE programming, keeping fans eagerly anticipating future confrontations. Becky Lynch’s evolving rivalries and unexpected twists could elevate the women’s division and bring new energy to WWE’s storytelling.
