Tonight’s WWE NXT, airing on August 5, 2025, promises an action-packed nightlife from Capitol Wrestling Center (WWE Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. The show will see WWE NXT tag team champions Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Leisure) defending the title against Chase U (Ulia Connors and Kale Dixon). Additionally, WWE NXT Women’s North American champion Soluluka defends her title against Kaling’s Tatum Paxley.

WWE NXT Results (8/5/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show will be opened with Vic Joseph, WWE Hall of Fame Booker T, and Corey Lieves who welcome us as Blake Monroe arrives in the ring for the first match of the night. Kerani Jordan then goes to the ring.
Single Match: “Glamour” Blake Monroe vs. Kerani Jordan
The match begins with Kerani Jordan wasting no time chasing Blake Monroe. She bumps into Monroe’s arm resistance and dropkick, which she cross-body chases, causing Monroe to submit and wear out, but Monroe sends Jordan out of the ring and hits her with a dropkick under the rope at the bottom.
Monroe then returns Jordan to the ring when he sees the mysterious person being pulled up to the performance center. Monroe then hits a sling blade in Jordan, but Jordan responds with a cinch on Monroe’s split leg impact and half a Boston Crab. Monroe then grabs the rope below and escapes, but Jordan flies off the top rope. Monroe then hits a headbutt in Jordan.
Jordin Grace’s music hits and she attacks the ring. Monroe then escapes through the arena side door and jumps into the car waiting to escape. The referee then begins a 10 count, but Monroe clearly can’t take off and return to the ring.

We then head backwards, where Kale Dixon and Uria Connors ask Andre Chase what their chances will be in the next match. Chase says there’s a million chances. Kale and Ulia are excited about him, and Kale drops the line “at least have a chance” for Lloyd’s Christmas from Dumb and Dumber.
WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) (C) vs. Chase U (Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon)
Kale Dixon, Hank Walker and Dixon chase after Walker in the match. Connors then tag along and hits assisted power bombs with Walker along with Dixon. Walker then sends Connors to the apron, but Connors hits a spinning kick to Walker’s spine. Walker then kicks Connor to the face to intercept him, then tagging the ledger. Leisure then helps him hit the Connors flapjack before swapping Connors with right hand.
Dixon then tags and winds up the ledger, but the ledger kicks out. Dixon then leaves the spirits agency from the ring from the ledger on the low bridge and flies through the top rope, nailing the walker and ledger on the outer claws. He then sends him back into the ring, then climbs onto the top rope and appears to fly. Leisure then rolls out of the way, and Walker hits a spinning sidewalk slum with Dixon. Walker and Leisure then begin to hit a double splash with Dixon, but Connors pushes Dixon out of the way and moves from him. Walker and Leisure then hit a double splash at Dixon before winning with a Pouse Rum-Cross Line combination on the shoulders.

After the match, DarkState appears and beats the Connors, Dixon, Chase, Ledger and Walker. They then hit four times the power bombs in their ledgers and become taller.
Then you’ll see the fatal effects of chatting behind the scenes. They are then approached by a personal concierge (George Iceman of TNA). He informed him that Elegance’s Ash will be the knockout world champion this Thursday. Jay then brushes him off.
Milesborde and Tabion Heights then flap the wings behind the scenes as Tabion wants to Borning in his upcoming match with Lexisking.
