Sol Ruca Triumphs Over Chaos to Claim Female NA Title in WWE NXT Main Event

2 Min Read

Last month in Kaling, Sol Ruca defended her NXT Women’s North American Championship against Ijidam. On Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT, she successfully retained her title once again, this time defeating Tatum Paxley, who is also part of the same faction, in the show’s main event.

As Luka prepared for the title bout against Zaria, Paxley appeared accompanied by Dam, Sean Spears, and Nico Vance. Despite being outnumbered at ringside, Ruca managed to take down all three interfering spectators at one point. Near the match’s conclusion, Luka hit Paxley with a spear followed by an Enjigiri in the corner. When both wrestlers climbed the turnbuckle, Luka seemed ready to slam Paxley to the floor, but Paxley countered with a swinging neckbreaker, sending them both crashing.

While the two were down in the ring, Paxley placed her cherished doll on the apron, seemingly preparing to use it as a weapon. However, a backstage fight between Near Jacks and the Rush legend spilled over to ringside, causing a distraction as they crashed into the barricade. Taking advantage of the chaos, Ruca hit the Solsnatcher finisher on Paxley for the win.

With this victory, Ruca’s reign as the NXT Women’s North American Champion will exceed 110 days. Paxley earned the title shot after pinning Zaria and delivering a spear in a recent mixed tag team match.

Fan Take: This win solidifies Sol Ruca as a dominant force in the NXT women’s division, showcasing her resilience even when outnumbered. For WWE fans, her continued reign adds excitement and depth to the title scene, indicating intense rivalries and fresh storylines ahead.
