WWE NXT Results (8/12/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens in a recap of last week’s NXT, where Chelsea Green counters Ethan Page against Tabion Heights, with Hank and Tank attacking the four men the group is facing tonight. We’re also watching Lash Legend, who is fighting Nia Jax last week.

After that, NXT general manager Ava walks to Hank & Tank who is upset with Darkstate and makes sure it happened earlier today that he is asking him not to interfere with Darkstate’s match late at night as he plays a match between Darkstate and Darkstate on Heatwave. After that, Hank and Tank agree, but Ava isn’t sure, as Hank and Tank look sarcastically.

Vic Joseph, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, and Corey Graves welcome to the show, while Lash Legend moves towards the ring for the first match of the night. Nia Jax then moves towards the ring.

The legend then taps the shoulder in the corner. The legend then picks up Jacks and sends him to the turnbuckle. Jax then attacks the boots. Jax then sends the legend to the floor.

The legend then sends Jacks to the apron. The legend then becomes a slum, but Jax blocks it with his elbow. Jax then sends the legend to the apron. The legend hits the forearm and she sends Jacks to the turnbuckle. The legend then sends Jax to the turnbuckle multiple times. The legend hits some chops with the rope. Jax then slaps her back elbow with Legend’s Spine and submits to polish her. The Legend then attacks Jax’s chop, but Jax responds to Legend with a Samoa drop. Legend then causes Jax to collide with the mat, but Jax pulls on the ring skirt. When the judge corrects it, Jax lakes the legendary eyes and chases it with a sendon. Jax then crashes the Legend onto the outside barricade, but the Legend drags him to the ring step next to the Announcement Desk, trying to suppress Jax through the Announcement Desk. Jax then blocks the legend, but Legend raises Jax and crashes both Jax through the announcement desk.

The referee starts a 10 count, but both women defeat it. Jax and Legend then exchange for forearms with each other, but Legend attacks the body slam with Jax, seeking pins. Jacks then kicks out, but the legend climbs onto the top rope. Jax then joins her there, but the legend is about to pull Jack away. Jax then counters An-Nia-Lator and hits Legend’s second hit for victory.

Singles winner, “The Arresistible Force” Nia Jax!

We then see Kelly Kincaid interviewing all Dark State members about their upcoming matches. Dion says they’re here to take the opportunity and they’re going to step up to the best four from NXT and TNA. Cutler says the Dark State will take over their ass. Others then seemed confused by Cutler’s butt talk, but then went back to tough mode and hyped up the upcoming segment. They say that when Darkstate hits, no one is safe.

Chelsea Green and her secret Hervice are then roaming the locker room, where a woman scouts about who will send after Chelsea. Chelsea then fires several girls. She is Canadian and feels safe in Carmen Petrovich. Green then stumbles upon Kendall Gray, who has an impressive college resume but states that he can’t beat Albafir later. Green says she has to leave to prepare for the upcoming match.

Charlie Dempsey and Len Sinclair will advance towards the ring for the next night’s match, followed by Joe Hendry.

Single Match: Charlie Dempsey from TNA’s Joe Hendry vs. No Quarter Catch Crew

The match begins with both men locking up. Hendry then tightens his side headlock and hits the shoulder tackle. Dempsey then hits a drop toe hold, but Hendry gets a roll-up for a nearby fall. Hendry then hits hip toss. Dempsey then hits a backdrop on the wrist lock. Hendry then attacks a comeback and takedown. Dempsey then hits a takedown, but Hendry holds the wrist lock. Hendry avoids the snap mares. Dempsey then hits Snapmare, and Hendry holds the wrist lock. Hendry then bumps into the squeeze of his arm.

Dempsey then attacks several forearms and European uppercuts. Dempsey then attacks Gut Francis Suplex for the nearby fall. Hendry then hits the elbow in his back, but Dempsey hits a kick and an Aurora suppression before following it to the guillotine with the Aurora suppression of the Butterfly. Dempsey then hits a body scissors, and Hendry hits a suppression. Hendry then hits several punches and clotheslines. Hendry then hits Fallaway Slam and turns to the camera. Hendry then bumps into Stomp and sets up for a standing ovation, but Dempsey blocks it and gets a nearby fall on the backslide. Hendry then hits a standing ovation for victory.

Joe Hendry from TNA, the winner of the singles match!

We then see Josh Briggs walking behind the scenes.

Then head backwards. See Lola Vise and Kelani Jordan in the locker room. Vice says they need to win tonight. Vice says this is a big opportunity. Vice says she is ready to become the NXT women’s champion. Jordan says she’s approaching the title. Later, Haida Parker appears and says they have money in a tag match, but she says she has the next one.

Josh Briggs then proceeds towards the ring. Briggs starts by saying you should believe in someone when they show you who they really are. Briggs then says that Inamura Yoshiki showed him who he really was and Inamura was more interested in becoming an NXT champion than their friendship. Briggs then says that NXT has no honor and asks how many times he says he is not a man of honor. Briggs then challenges Inamura and faces him in a street fight.

Inamura’s music is a hit and he runs away. Inamura tells Briggs that he is Jackass, then accepts Briggs’ challenge for street fights and chases him. Inamura pushes the brig into the mat and hits the floor with a shoulder tackle. Briggs and Inamra continue their brawl as a few guards run off into the ring. Inamura crashes Briggs onto the ropes and sends it to some of the guards. Inamura then gets taller into the ring and ends the segment.

The camera then shows Jordin Grace behind him preparing for a sit-in interview with Kelly Kincaid.
