Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are teaming up once again.

This week’s AEW Dynamite, held at the Andrew Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, featured singles matches with Coop and Stokeley Hathaway. Hathaway needed assistance from security to get into the ring at the start. The match ended in a disqualification when FTR intervened to protect their manager after Stokeley threw powder into his opponent’s eyes. The duo of Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood aggressively attacked the former world champion following the bell.

Christian Cage appeared holding spikes, driving FTR to retreat. Nick Wayne attempted a surprise chair attack on Christian, but the former TNT champion countered using the spikes. Subsequently, Adam Copeland delivered a spear to Kip Sabian before turning to face his old tag team partner. Initially uncertain about each other, they eventually reconciled, with Cage handing the spikes back to Copeland. As Cage attempted to exit the ring, Copeland pulled him back, solidifying the reunion of the legendary tag team.

Following this moment, AEW announced that Christian Cage and Adam Copeland will team up to face Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne at Forbidden Door, marking their first match together since 2011.

Fan Take: This reunion is a thrilling moment for AEW fans, blending nostalgia with fresh excitement. It not only revives a classic partnership but also promises high-stakes action, potentially elevating AEW’s tag team scene and captivating the wrestling world.
