A current former WWE Raw star has officially been transferred to the Smackdown roster, as announced on Friday night. During the August 15th episode of Smackdown on the USA Network, US Champion Solo Sikoa appeared in the ring alongside Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, and JC Mateo. Sikoa boasted about how he and his faction recently targeted Jimmy Uso, Jacob Fatu, and most recently, Sami Zayn.

Sami Zayn then entered the ring to reveal that he had officially switched from Raw to Smackdown, signaling a new focus on the US Championship scene. As Sikoa and his group launched an attack, Jimmy Uso arrived to help Zayn, but was overwhelmed due to the numbers disadvantage. Jacob Fatu soon came to their aid.

Later, WWE Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis came out to announce the main event for the night at Boston’s TD Garden: a six-man tag team match featuring Zayn, Uso, and Fatu against Sikoa, Loa, Tonga, and Mateo.

Fan Take: This roster switch shakes up the dynamics of Smackdown and Raw, introducing fresh rivalries and new storylines that keep WWE programming exciting. Sami Zayn’s move to Smackdown, combined with the intense faction warfare, promises high-energy matches and dramatic moments that fans won’t want to miss.
