Tonight’s WWE NXT, airing on September 9, 2025, promises an action-packed nightlife from Capitol Wrestling Center (WWE Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. The show will see WWE NXT tag team champions DarkState (Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin) defending the title against Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger). The show opens with Zaria, the arrival of Soluluka, culling and fatal effects.
Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T welcome us to the show, but Vic’s intro was cut out in the microphone by Je’von Evans. Evans then calls out Briggs. Briggs then goes outside and Evans bumps into him with a plancha. Evans then attacks Briggs with a hemp h moonzoo. The referee then escapes and begins the first match of the night with both men in the ring.
Single Match: “The Young OG” Je’von Evans vs. Josh Briggs
The match begins with Evans hitting a frog splash for the nearby fall. Evans then hits a few chops and Briggs hits punches. Briggs then hits an elbow drop and several punches. Josh then hits more punches in the corner. Evans then escapes a slam attempt and he punches Josh. Josh then slaps the clothesline for autumn. Briggs then slams the side slam for the nearby fall. Briggs then kicks Evans in the back and cinches with a reverse jaw lock. Evans then falls over the head scissor and Things Shot Head scissor falls over. Evans hits a dropkick. Josh sends Evans to the apron, and Josh gets caught up in the ropes. Josh drops Evans on the apron. Josh then sends Evans to the presentation desk. Josh then slams the chalk against the table, but Evans lands on the table and jumps onto the apron. Evans then bumps into a suicide dive, with both men crossing the announcement desk. Evans chops Josh.
Evans then takes too long to hit another chop, and Josh hits the forearm. Both men then return to the ring. Josh then hits the elbow on his back. Josh then slaps the boots behind. Josh then whips a hard Irish whip. Josh then hits a fall in his elbow, and he will be in the nearby fall. Josh tightens the lock on his reverse chin. Josh then taps his forearm on his back and cinches with the lock on his reverse chin. After that, Josh approaches autumn.
Evans then tries to launch Josh by punching, but Josh blocks it. Evans then hits his forearm. Evans hits a few punches to avoid a punch from Josh. Evans then hits more punches. Josh then pushes Evans away, and Evans goes to the apron and bumps into the forearm. Evans then goes to the springboard movement, but Josh catches Evans and sends him to the middle rope before fall is nearby. Josh kicks Evans in the head. Josh faces Evans, who punches him. Evans then blocks the kick, but he stomps on Josh’s foot. Evans then hits a Superman punch, followed by a kick and a super kick. Evans then bumps into the cross for the nearby autumn.
Josh then catches Evans on a springboard cross. Evans then hits the cutter from a power slam attempt. Evans then hits a running kick to the head. Evans then approaches autumn. Evans then ran into the clothesline and Josh hit a rebound round kick. Evans then goes up from the coast to the coastal Senton. Josh then rolls onto the floor. Josh then hits a punch and gets a chair, but Evans hits a super kick when the referee stops Josh. When Evans goes to the springboard cutter, Josh hits a punch. Josh wins.
Josh Briggs, the winner of the singles match!
They then see Oba Femi and Ricky Saints in Ava’s office, and Oba calls Ricky a hot head. Ricky then says they can finish it now. Ava says that isn’t happening here. Ava says he’s getting frustrated with the Grayson Waller effect because there’s so much to get down from his chest. Trick Williams appears and he wants to know if everything is good. Williams says he’s going to stand up to #Diy. Trick tells Ricky that he doesn’t understand because he has a championship business. Williams then tells the Oba that they’re not finished.
We then see Johnny Gargano and Tomaso Cimpa walking through the backstage area.
Johnny Gargano and Tonmaso Cimpa head towards the ring. Ciampa starts by saying it feels like home and makes you feel special every time you step into the NXT ring. It has since been 10 years since Ciampa first tagged Johnny Gargano as #Diy on NXT. Johnny says many people forget where they came from. Johnny says he’s been NXT for the rest of his life and he means that. Johnny says they might be on SmackDown, but this is their home. Ciampa says he hoped that his final match at NXT would not be his last match at NXT. He then says Williams’ trick last week.
Trick Williams goes his way. Trick says the greatest NXT superstar of all time is here. Trick says he won his best in one situation last week. The trick says you’re jealous. Trick says you’re jealous as the NXT crew is not hanging from the NXT crew. Johnny suggests that Trick come into the ring and show what he did. Trick says he’s not alone.
Carmelo Hayes then proceeds towards the ring. Carmelo looks at Cimpa and Gargano. Carmelo then turns his attention to the trick. After that, Hayes spoke to the trick after leaving, and he said many things that were true but not true. Hayes then says last week he heard about Trick being his home and that Trick lives here. Hayes says you say when you’re with the two guys who built the house. Then Hayes says he says that in the same ring as the person who renovated the house. Hayes says you’re just crouching in their home. Hayes then says he’s here to tell Trick that the rent is due.
The trick says he gets it, but Hayes says he’s not finished yet since he’s been in a year and a half. After that, Hayes says that next time he stands in the ring, with nxt-like greats, removes his high heels at the door, sits and says he won’t touch anything. He then says you will be quiet while they speak. Johnny says it’s like Philadelphia. Trick says he understands why they did this. He then says they’ve gone through a lot. He then says he’s talking trash about Hayes. He then says that it wasn’t right. He then tells Hayes not to twist it. He then says to squat where he wants to squat. He then says this is still his home.
Champa then apologises for the interruption and he wants to know what the situation is between Trick and Hayes. Hayes tells Champa to tell him to shut up, as this is between him and his peers. Hayes says you are the last two you’re talking about, as you’re the two of the biggest backstabbers. Trick wants to talk about it. Johnny says there’s a lot of history here, but people want to see two generations of NXT in Homecoming’s biggest tag match in NXT history.
Lainey Reid and Faby Apache proceed towards the ring for the next match of the night as Natalia is in the crowd to watch the action.
WWE NXT Women’s Speed Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament First Round Match: AAA Star Fabby Apache vs. Rainey Reed
The match begins with Fabby hitting a dropkick and scissors defeating them. Reid then goes to the floor and Fabby hits a cannonball from the apron. Fabby then sends the lead into the ring. Reed then hits a round kick, and both women go to the test of strength. The lead then approaches the fall flip and hits in the near fall. Fabby then smashes backslides and bridges, hitting the nearby fall. The lead then gets a rollup. Fabby then hits an edge omatically. Fabby then misses a splash to the corner, but Fabby hits a thrust kick for the nearby fall. Reed then kicks and she will be in the fall nearby. Fabby then escapes the slum and bumps into autumn near the German suppression. Fabby then goes up to the top, missing Swanton and Nutty overcomes the ringside barrier. Reid then kneels for the victory.

After the match, Natty and Fabby stare at each other.
We then head backwards, where Zaria and Sol Luka discuss what will happen when Sol wins the third title. Zaria says this victory is necessary. Hank & Tank then stops by and Tank says it’s time for Sol and Zaria to get Tag Team Gold. Sol says he will follow Hank & Tank’s lead.
Blake Monroe then cuts the promotion and says she doesn’t finish with Jordin Grace. Blake says Jordyn made a big mistake. Then Blake says that she was charm and that the grace ruined everything. Then Blake says she wanted to be something different. Then Blake says she wanted it to be clean and out of hand. Blake says the charm is cruel and relentless and could become a star of the show. Blake says he has shown that charm and hell should not be separated. Blake then says that Jordin did not humble her, but did not awaken her. Blake says she shows that she can make the devil blush.
Darkstate then heads into the ring for the next night’s match, followed by Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.
WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Darkstate (Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin) (C) vs. Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger)
The match begins with the tank knocking Dion from the apron and the tank hitting the tackle on the springboard’s shoulder. Hank and Tank then hit a crunch on Marachi and hit a combination of shoulder tackle and power slams, but Dion breaks it. Hank then thrusts Osiris and Osiris with his forearms and a stiff Irish whip. Dion then tagged and they hit a double tosberry two-back suppression for almost autumn. All four of them enter the ring and are paired up. Dion is then sent to the floor, and Osiris is washed on top rope on the floor. Hank and Tank hit a cross-stereo suicide on the floor. Hank then sends Dion to the apron, and he punches Dion several more times. After that, Hank approaches autumn. The tank is tagged and goes to the turnbuckle of the double sledge.
The tank then hits the squeeze of his arm, and he escapes a slam attempt from Dion. Then, when Hank tages him, he hits a double sledge from the turnbuckle. As the tank tages, he slams a splash into the corner and chases it with a snap mare for the nearby fall. The tank is then tightened with an arm bar. Dion then hits several forearms, while the tank hits the arm drag into the arm bar. Osiris then tags the tank and hits his elbow, but Osiris drops the tank onto the top rope and Dion hits the flying clothesline. Osiris then hits several kicks in the tank. Osiris then sends the tank to the turnbuckle and tracks it down in a slam. Dion then tags and pulls the tank’s throat into the rope below. Dion then hits a punch. After that, Dion approaches autumn. The tank then hits the boots and some punches. Dion then punches the punch and hits the takedown on the cover as the tank fell. Dion then attacks the spinebuster and bumps into the nearby autumn. Then, when Osiris tag them, they hit a double chokeslam and hit the fall nearby. Osiris then tightens his sleeper.
The tank then hits several elbows, and Osiris hits a nearby fall power slam. Osiris then faces the tank, and the tank hits several punches. Osiris then stops the tank from creating tags. The tank then hits several punches and Osiris still stops the tank. Osiris then hits the forearm and both men try the tag, but they are held back. They both hit the forearm and fall into the corner to create a tag. Hank then slams double sledge with Dion and slams. Hank then rubs the area near his belly before hitting a splash. Hank bulldogs Osiris into Dion. Hank then hits a spinning flatliner for almost fall. Hank then places Dion on the turnbuckle for power and glory, and they almost fall. They then set up for a crunch of Malachi, but Cutler pulls Hank out of the ring and punches him. The tank punches the shoeger. Joe Hendry’s music is a hit and he breaks the cylinder as Cutler says his name. Hank then hits O’Connor Roll with Dion, but Osiris hits the clothesline and Dion wins.

Next, you’ll see the flag matches and get a video package featuring some promotions by Tavion Heights and Ethan Page. Tabion Heights moves towards the ring for the next night’s match.
We then head backwards and see Ethan Page Borning about being the champion. Lexis King says it was a good footage. Ethan then gave Miles good advice. He then tells him that Miles didn’t take advice and that what he said to him was going to one bad ear and going to the other bad ear. Lexis says Miles lost to the blind man. Miles then appears and he turns off the lights and the lights come back and Myles tells Lexis that he hasn’t finished with him.
Ethan Page heads into the ring for the next night’s match.
Flag Match: WWE NXT North American Champion “All Ego” Ethan Page vs. Tabion Heights
The match begins with Ethan going towards the flag, and Tavion pulls him away from the turnbuckle. The page then goes to flag again. Page goes to the floor and he pulls Tavion to the floor and sends him to the apron. Page then climbs into the turnbuckle and Tabion stops him again. Tabion then considers going to the flag, but he strikes the spear through the rope. Tavion then hits a few punches and a few forearms, and he returns the page to the ring and hits the modified sling blade. Page then stops Tavion with a turnbuckle, and Tavion hits the elbow on his back. Page then tries to pull Tabion away from the turnbuckle. He squeals his arm and sends Tavion to the mat.
The page then sets up for the edge of the ego, but Tabion rides the turnbuckle to kick the page. The page then stops the Tabion with a turnbuckle. Page then goes to the turnbuckle for a power bomb, but Tabion is free and Page stops Tabion. Page then grabs Tabion with his hair and knocks him down onto the mat. Both men then exchange punches. Tavion then slams some punches and Page hits a round kick to the temple, but Tavion bounces off the ropes in a flying clothesline, with both men down. The Tabion then arrives first at the turnbuckle, and Page misses his shoulder and hits the ring post. Page then knocks Tabion from the turnbuckle to the floor. Next, send the page to the ring step. The page then climbs into the turnbuckle, but Tabion grabs the page. Page then knocks Tabion on the mat, but Page makes himself into the crotch. Tabion then hits a super-bed-belly suppression. Tabon reaches the flag for victory.
Flag Match winner, Tavion Heights!
After the match, Tavion raises the Canadian flag and he encircles the page. Tabion then places the Canadian flag on the page. Tyler Breeze’s music hits and he moves towards the ring where the pages are not moving. Tyler then takes a selfie next to the page.
Vic Joseph next hypes part 2 of Lola Vice’s profile video.
Get Part 2 of the “This Is Lola Vice” video package and talks about her martial arts and her father. Vice then heads to her father’s martial arts academy and hugs him. Vice’s father Frank talks about Vice, and Vice says that she was not only born for this life, but she was raised by it. Vice says that her whole family has a black belt and talks about witnessing her sister live in every viral moment. She then talks about breaking the expectations of MMA and proving that she is more than a pretty face. Vice then says this is for herself and she can’t wait for her sister to see her knockout Jacy Jayne. Vies then says it’s not just a fight. That’s her moment. Her dad is being hyped for her, and Vice says she will become Vice City’s NXT women’s champion.
After that, we head backwards. There, fatal effects laugh about the video and say they’re ready tonight. Jacee says they win and Fallon and Jazmine win the tag title and hold all the money. After that, Jazmyn puts on more makeup and they go out.
It will then be announced next week that Ethan Page will face Tyler Breeze in the North American Championship. Obafemi, Ricky Saints, Calmelo Hayes and Trick Williams will be working with Johnny Gargano and Tomassociampa to perform the Grayson Waller effect.
Zaria and Sol Luka proceed towards the ring for the night’s main event, followed by culling and fatal effects.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship #1 Competitor Triple Threat Elimination Match: Fatal impact (Fallon Henry and Jazmine Nycks) vs. Kaling (Tatum Paxley and Iji Dam) vs. Zarka (Zarya and WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion and WWE Women’s Speed Champion Sol Luka)
The match begins with NYX and Tatum hitting a few kicks at Zaria and sending her to the floor. Tatum gets a rollup for NYX. After that, Nyx will almost fall. Tatum wins autumn near Nyx. Both women then slap the forearm and Zaria slaps the double cut line and the back body to Tatum. Nyx avoids the splash, but she bumps into the boots from Zaria. Zaria chokes the Knicks. Tatum hits, then Crossbody and Izzi hit a splash. Fallon then splashes at Izzy and cinches with the reverse chin lock. Iji then heads out to a power bomb, but Fallon counters Lana and body scissors, against the nearby autumn. Zaria sends Fallon to the floor. Zaria and Izzi exchange punches, and Izzi attacks the boots. Zaria then hits a bike kick.
Then both women hit the washing machine at the same time. Fallon then hits both crossbody, NYX tagging him, NYX defeating Izzi, and Fallon hits his forearm before the slide. Fallon then grabs Zaria’s ankle and the Knicks hit a springboard kick for the nearby fall. Izzi then hits his forearm on the NYX. Iji then catches Fallon on the crossbody. Sol tagged and hits a springboard dropkick. Sol travels through Tatum, she spins Nyx and drops her into Tatum. Sol surfs her back and she hits a double drop kick. Fallon then tags and when Sol sends Tatum to the floor, she pulls Sol to the floor. Fallon then slams Nico on the double jump crossbody on the floor. Iji then kicks Fallon, Zaria kicks the spear and hits a shoulder tackle from the apron. Nyx kicks Izzi and Tatum kicks Nyx. Sol slams Twist Senton on Nico, Tatum and Izzy.
Fallon then hits the forearm with Sol and Tatum hits the forearm with Fallon. Tatum then sends Sol into the ring, and Fallon hits a kick with Tatum’s apron. Sol slams Irish whip and hips against the horns. After that, Zaria tagged her and she hits a splash. Sol then returns the tag. Zaria sends Sol into the corner for a dropkick from Fallon and Tatum. Nyx then tags in and travels Sol and sends her to the mat. Nyx then hits the Irish Whip and Fallon tags. NYX hits Sol’s kick and Fallon hits him in the knee. After that, Fallon will be in autumn near Sol. Fallon then slaps his desires and knees. Tatum then hits Fallon and Tatum goes to the floor. Fallon then hits the forearm with Sol and Knicks tags. Fallon hits his hips against the horns, while Nyx hits Snapmare and Figure 4 Head Scissors.
Tatum hits the sleeper on NYX. Sol kicks Tatum and Sol Leans gets a fall close to NYX. Izzi then hits the elbows in his back with Nyx and Sol. Iji then hits a slam with Fallon. Iji then hits an elbow drop with Fallon. Izzi then attacks the boots with Fallon. Iris then whips Fallon at Sol, and Izzy hits Hop and hits Fallon’s clothesline for fall. Izzi then kicks Sol and launches her for Flapjack. Fallon then hits his elbow. Fallon then hits the forearm with Sol and Izzy. Sol then kicks Kiji from the apron and Knicks swings the rope to stop the springboard from Sol. Jacee then hits Zaria’s super kick, and the Knicks send her to the ring step. Fallon then became a huge hit with the Izzi and NYX tags.
Nyx and Fallon hit Sol and Izzi with double flap jacks. Nyx then gets a fall close to Sol and Izzi. Nyx then hits Izzi’s kick and she goes to the fisherman’s suppression at Sol for the nearby fall. The NYX is then held back by a round kick and an Irish whip, and Sol continues on the counter. Sol is then sent to the apron and hits his forearm. The Knicks then refuse to lean against the corner and she kicks Sol with the turnbuckle. Izzi then enters under NYX for a power bomb, Sol attacks a massive hit, and Izzi strikes a power bomb with NYX.
Everyone then tagged, and Zaria hits Fallon and Tatum kicks. Zaria then attacks the German suppression with Fallon and Tatum. Zaria then catches NYX with a springboard movement and hits the back suppression from spinning’s belly. Zaria then strikes an overbomb at Tatum, but Izzy splits the cover. Sol and Zaria then speared with Tatum and Izzy. Zaria hits an F5 with Fallon and is forced into Solsnatcher. Fallon then sends Sol to the top rope, and Nick Spin Zaria, Solluka and Zaria are eliminated.
Tatum then hits a Springboard Dropkick on Fallon. Izzi then hits the Codebreaker on NYX, but Tatum is almost fall. Fallon then travels with Iji and she slaps her forearm. Tatum then gets an O’Connor roll on NYX, and Jacy hits the forearm from the floor, while Nyx gets almost fall only. Fallon then slams the catapult and hits a fur kick for the nearby fall. Nyx then hits Thesz Press with Izzi, and they fight to the floor. Iji hits the Knicks on the apron. Fallon then hits a kick around the ring post. Tatum then kicks Fallon from the turnbuckle. Tatum then goes up and asks for a 450 splash, but she lands at her feet. Fallon then becomes a family, but Tatum moves. Izzi then tag and hits the boots, and Tatum hits the Psycho Trap. Iji then strikes a sit-out power bomb for victory.

After the match, Jacee says she doesn’t care who dropped the ball because she failed. She says she has since run the division.
The vehicle then arrives at the building and the second vehicle is pulled up. Jacee says there’s no way they won’t become part of their homecoming. Jacey says the failures are in Jazmine and Fallon. Jacee says she’s not a babysitter to whom. Jacee says she’s tired of carrying this group onto her back. Jacee says she didn’t get to where she was for you. Jacee says she doesn’t need your applause, your respect, or anyone of you. Jay says that the only person she needs is herself. Jacee says she is the best NXT women’s champion of all time. Jacee says she was the world champion of TNA knockouts.
Stephanie Vaquer’s music hits and she moves towards the ring. Vaquer tells Jacy that she will give her credit as you beat her for the title. Vaquer says he has NXT Women’s and NXT titles at the same time and did it himself. Vaquer says he will be champion again at Wrestlepalooza. Jacee says there are three of them and only one of you is there. Stephanie then says she has a question for Yassie.
Tiffany Stratton’s music is a hit and she comes out. After that, Tiffany asks what time it is. She then says it feels so good to be at home. Tiffany says that the last time she checks out, she is the women’s champion. Tiffany says she is WWE’s longest champion and mentions who she beat. Tiffany points out that she was also the NXT women’s champion. Jacee says they are super seniors who want to come back to high school to feel cool again. Tiffany says she doesn’t know that Mami feels she’s called a super senior. Rhea Ripley’s music is a hit and she comes out.
Rare says she is the best NXT women’s champion of all time. Rhea says she doesn’t think so. Rhea says you want to go homecoming and there are three of you and three of us. Rare says they see them on full sale. Rhea says that Tiffany, Stephanie, and she will take care of Fallon, Jassie and Jazmine. Fatal effects are then cleared from the ring, with rare, strutton and vakers getting taller. Comments then come next week when Johnny Gargano and Tom Maso Champa vs. Trick Williams, Carmelo Hayes, Oba Femi and Ricky Saints get caught up in the Grayson Waller effect, with Tyler Brees facing off against North American Championships and Fallon Henry, Jazz Minnie Nee Varney and Rap’s Ethan and Jazz Minnie Nee Varney and Rap’s Ethan and Jazz Minnie Nee Varney and Rap’s Ethan The show is coming to an end.
