Fans can catch Chelsea Green on both WWE and AAA shows, but she won’t be featured at the International Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame anytime soon. After recently capturing the WWE United States Women’s Title, Green visited the Hall of Fame and was upset that she wasn’t recognized among the pro wrestling legends displayed there.
Green threatened to "set this place on fire" if she wasn’t honored as a legend and mocked two staff members who confronted her by calling them "Beavis and Butthead." When security escorted her out, she didn’t hold back with comments.
"You’re fired. You’re fired. Your life is over. I swear. Oh, shut up, you idiot!" she shouted.
The International Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame officially declared that Green is no longer welcome.
"Effective immediately, Chelsea Green is expelled from the International Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame. On Friday, November 14th, she confronted museum officials demanding her statue be displayed. After she refused to cooperate, security had to remove her. Her statue will now be displayed at the museum entrance to remind visitors that proper behavior is expected at all times."
Clearly, this incident is meant to be humorous and highlights the over-the-top, self-centered "Karen-like" character Green portrays on WWE TV. Despite the drama, Green’s in-ring achievements could one day earn her a rightful place in the Hall of Fame.
Currently, Green is set to compete in WWE NXT Gold Rush, teaming with Ethan Page to defend the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship against Joe Hendry and Thea Hale. Stay tuned for more on Chelsea Green’s career—one she evidently believes deserves Hall of Fame recognition.
Fan Take: This controversy adds an entertaining layer to Chelsea Green’s persona, keeping fans engaged beyond her wrestling skill. It also underscores how character-driven storylines continue to shape wrestling, making the sport as much about personality and drama as athleticism.
