Wes Lee has made his return to TNA Wrestling.
In last night’s episode of Impact Wrestling, Johnny Dango Curtis, formerly known as WWE’s Fandango, announced he plans to retire from wrestling in January. The Rascals then challenged Curtis and the rest of the System faction to a match at Turning Point. When Moose noted that the System had four members compared to the Rascals’ three, the group hinted at the comeback of a family member. It was revealed that the fourth member was none other than former NXT wrestler Desmond Xavier. Xavier’s return helped secure the team’s win by pinning Dango with a spiral tap.
Desmond Xavier was part of TNA’s roster from 2017 to 2020, spending the last two years with the Rascals and helping the faction make an impact. He and his partner Zachary Wentz left the promotion in 2020 to sign developmental deals with WWE. While Wentz was released in 2022, Xavier, who wrestled in NXT as Wes Lee, stayed active until this year. Along with capturing the NXT North American Championship, Lee has earned multiple tag team titles in NXT, making his surprising release in October a shock to many fans.
Fan Take: Wes Lee’s return to TNA injects fresh energy into the promotion and brings a familiar yet exciting talent back into the spotlight. This move could signal a new era of competition and storytelling in TNA, offering fans thrilling matches and renewed rivalries.
