Mercedes Monet Claims the Throne as the Unchallenged ROH Women’s TV Champion

2 Min Read

Following the latest episode of AEW Clash, Mercedes Moné has become the undisputed ROH Women’s World Television Champion. She secured this by defeating Red Velvet, unifying the ROH Women’s World Television Championship with the interim title.

Red Velvet initially captured the championship in July 2024 and competed as the lineal champion during Collision. However, due to an injury in July 2025, ROH named Velvet the interim champion instead of stripping her of the title. Mina Shirakawa was the first to hold the interim championship but eventually lost it to Moné at Wrestle Dream in October 2025.

Moné now holds the undisputed ROH Women’s World Television Championship. Since this undisputed reign replaces her interim champion status, it does not increase the total number of titles she holds. Recently, Moné claimed her 13th championship by defeating Noll "Phoenix" Diana for the APAC Women’s Championship in Malaysia.

Chris Statlander was present at ringside during Moné’s match against Velvet. As CEO, Velvet has been closely watching the AEW Women’s World Champion, and the two are set to face off for the AEW Women’s World Championship this weekend at AEW Full Gear.

Keep an eye on Mercedes Moné as she aims to add more championships to her growing collection.

Fan Take: This unification cements Mercedes Moné’s dominance across multiple divisions, heightening anticipation for her upcoming clash with Red Velvet at AEW Full Gear. For AEW fans, it signals thrilling championship storylines and potentially historic moments in women’s wrestling.
