Matt and Nick Jackson have expressed strong admiration for their current teammate, Josh Alexander. After his victory on AEW Dynamite last Wednesday, The Young Bucks shared with Adam’s Apple their thoughts on working alongside the former TNA World Champion. When asked about the most underrated wrestler in All Elite Wrestling, Nick Jackson quickly pointed to Alexander.
“Hey, we teamed up with him,” he said about the Wednesday night TBS show. “Josh Alexander is incredible.”
The trio secured a win against Scorpio Sky and the Top Flight duo (Dante and Darius Martin) on the November 19 episode of Dynamite. Matt Jackson agreed with his brother on Alexander’s skill and also took a moment to highlight the impressive performance of their opponents, urging fans to pay more attention to Sky and the Martin brothers.
“Josh Alexander is awesome. And even the guys we faced—Top Flight and Scorpio Sky—people really should check them out more. They’re fantastic,” Matt said.
Josh Alexander joined AEW in April 2025, quickly aligning with the Don Callis Family. Before coming to AEW, he was a key figure in TNA Wrestling, holding the World Championship twice and setting the record as the longest-reigning champion in that company’s history.
The Young Bucks and Alexander will team up once again this Saturday, November 22, at AEW Full Gear in Newark, New Jersey. They will take on Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express (Jack Perry & Luchasaurus) in the “Million Dollar Trios Match.”
Fan Take: This collaboration between The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander is an exciting development for AEW fans, showcasing a blend of top-tier talent and underrated stars. Their upcoming match at Full Gear could set a new standard for trios competition and elevate the profiles of all involved, adding fresh energy to the sport.
